Peace.

For once in my life, there is peace — no running for my life. Just sleep like my quilt. But then I feel a tickling sensation crawl over me, and I sneeze, my ears pinch back.

A mumble from a form next to me makes me look down, and I smile softly. There is the strange dog Puss, and I met yesterday. Come to think of it, he's cute. But this could be my dragon side talking and considering that most small animals are cute.

I glance at the cat tower to see the orange tabby elf waking up. I feel the sleep leave my body and stand slowly, not to wake the sleeping puppy.

Soon Puss is awake and jumps off the tower on his way to me and rubs our heads together.

"Morning, senorita," he purses, and I chuckle "morning, Puss. slept well?" I ask, and he hums. Then our days begin. Perrito, who I will call the dog, has also woken up, and we are all eating the food served to us by Mama Luna.

It's as peaceful as it gets in a house full of cats.

But I'll take it. that at least Lobo is not at home with us anymore. I somehow feel he is watching us, but that could be my imagination.

At least, I hope so.

Well, peace later as long as it could. In the middle of my and the boy's nap, someone broke into the house, and when I gave them a smoldering glare, I was flattered.

It was three bears and a curly-haired blonde girl. But that surprise soon faded, and anger crept over me, my fur bristling. Puss noticed it and tugged at my tail, resulting in me slapping him in the face with it. But I turned around nonetheless. "let's not get involved," he whispered to me, and I sighed, letting out a strange hiss crossed with a growl.

"We are looking for these two, an orange tabby tom and a hooded woman. Are they hiding there anywhere?" growled the human girl, and Mama luna snapped back at her, "I've told you health department people that you won't get my cats!" then she gathered all of those furries in her arms and tried to walk off, but the girl grabbed her "uh-hu you're not getting anywhere lady. Tell us if you have these in your sorry little mansion or not. And we will perhaps let you live."

That didn't go, and I let out a yowl before Puss or Perito could stop me; I slunk out of my hiding place and snapped at one of the bears, the smallest one.

He yelped as I bared my teeth and grew bigger and bigger until I was no longer the sapphire tabby cat. No, now I was a full-grown human lady hooded and cloaked with a katana in my hand gleaming red and black. "you let these poor cats go, and I will follow you willingly to wherever you may need me. And if you don't," I smirked and tapped my slender fingers across the blade without cutting myself.

"I shan't." the bears gulped, but the girl didn't seem so worried and only smiled at me. "very well. Come with us," she said, and we all walked out of the hole she made. I gave Puss a glance over my shoulder, seeing a troubled look on his face.

I only smiled reassuringly and walked out.

"Will you need a ride, or can you go yourself?" asked Goldie, and I snorted before thinking of an eagle. Soon enough, my body transformed, and I let out a screech of surprise. My new allies released similar sounds of surprise when I took to the air soaring above them. I stilled in the air and called back, "go, and I will follow," They walked while I soared above them like a hawk.

I didn't trust these guys, but they held their word and didn't hurt Mama Luna or her cats any further, so I will have to do with this.

If I only knew why they wanted Puss or me.

But that will remain a mystery until we come to the location.
