The silence of the party is intense, the dark male standing tall in the door way. Almost immediately, he walks into the kitchen and the music comes back on. Hanna stands shocked and I look at her, her fingers grabbing my arm.

"Somebody wants you," she whispers, my eyes glancing up to see him staring at me. His lips are formed around a cup and he turns his head, his burning gaze leaving me.

"I don't get why. This is insane," I whisper in her ear. She shrugs and I excuse myself to use the bathroom, my hand locking the door. I use the facilities and wash my hands. I splash water on my face to rid the redness and I take a deep breath. There is nothing more nerve-wracking than to see an intimidating male staring at me.

Once I walk out, I make my way back to the dancefloor. Hanna smiles, but I see Ashton nearly run away from me. The thought makes me scared and I feel a presence behind me. Hanna's eyes widen and she nods, my throat bobbing as she rushes away as she mouths an apology.

"You shouldn't stand in the middle of a dance floor," a deep, British voice whispers. My heart races and I sheepishly turn, looking up at the one male I desperately wished wasn't there.

His eyes meet mine instantly and I lose my words, his body tall. I have to look up at him; my neck craning to look at him.

"S-Sorry," I whisper, his chocolate curls falling to his shoulders.

"Don't apologize," he says, my breathing quick in fear.

"I-I have to go," I rush, my feet nearly bolting out the door. I slow, taking off my heels, and run down the street until I reach my dorm.

My feet stop at my door and I quickly open it, setting everything down and climbing into bed without brushing my teeth or changing my clothes.

The next morning, I shower and let my loose curls fall. I grab my bag and walk to campus, sitting in the lounge and placing headphones in my ears. I start research for one of my classes and write everything down, my eyes flickering between my laptop screen and notebook.

My phone rings and I see my former foster mom's name on it, my hand accepting the call.

"Hi Elle," she cheers, my lips curving.

"Hello. How are you?" I ask, her voice carrying on as to how she's excited for me to be in college.

"How is Danny?" I ask, her son autistic.

"He's progressing. He was on the basketball team for a while but I needed him out."

I nod, talking with her about upcoming events. She's excited for football games.

"Listen, I'll talk to you soon."

I nod, saying goodbye and hanging up. I grab my things and walk to class, sitting down beside Hanna. We're assigned a book to read and I walk to the bookstore after class, buying the book. As I walk, I feel someone walk beside me and I look up, instantly regretting it.

"I never caught your name," Harry says, his Ray-Bans on the bridge of his nose and hood pulled over his head slightly. It's just enough to conceal some of his hair.

"Elle," I say quickly and quietly, his head turning to look at me.

"I'm Harry."

I nod, not knowing what to say once again. After I wrap my arms around myself, I walk into the classroom, instantly forgetting Harry was in it as well.

"Move," he says to Hanna, my eyes saddening as she gathers her things.

"No," I bravely say, Harry turning to look at me.

"No? I believe I'm sitting next to you," Harry states, my confusion growing.

"It's fine, Elle." Hanna's words contradict everything, her eyes saddening.

"Sorry," she whispers in my ear, Harry sitting down in her previous seat. Unfortunately, all the other seats are taken and I move my seat away from his. I take my notebook out and feel Harry move his chair closer, my head turning up.

"What's your last name, Elle?" he asks, my eyes not knowing where to look. I'm so intimidated by him but he's so...intriguing.

"White," I whisper, looking into his eyes.

"Elle White," he says, my head nodding.

"Danielle, actually," I flush, brushing my hair behind my ear.

"Pretty name," he smiles, my lips slightly curving before I turn my attention to the professor. The entire class I feel his gaze on me, my body extremely hot with nerves and he doesn't attempt to move away from me.

When we're dismissed, Harry waits for me as I pack up and I put my bag over my shoulder. He walks with me out of campus and he stops at the crosswalk with me.

"Elle," he says, my head turning to look at him.

"You aren't dating anyone, are you?" he asks, my head shaking.

"Good."

With that, he walks away and I'm left standing here confused. When I make my way to the dorms, I stop at the gas station to get a bag of chips.

A man walks in and he hangs up flyers on the board, a fight posted for tonight.

"You should come. They're always entertaining," the guys says, my lips curving. Tossing the chips down as I pay, I turn towards the guy.

"I'll check it out," I say, nervous when grabbing the paper. I grab my chips and walk out of the store, walking to my dorm. Once inside, I take a closer look at the paper and see it's a fight between two men.

Freeman vs. Styles.

It's at 8 and I have nothing else to do so I get ready. A hoodie is placed on my body and jeans, my jacket over my hoodie. I tie my boots onto my feet and I lock up the dorm, walking to the warehouse to see the fight.
