Crap! Crap! Crap! Crap!

"Well, it is kind of a funny story!" I say to try and save myself.

"What the hell happened Ashton!?!" She says with anger invading her tone.

Wait a minute I am a grown man! I can take care of myself! So what is my apartment is messy mom! I didn't even give you permission to go there let alone go inside. So don't call me and talk about why my home is a mess! Don't!

I can't say that.

" I threw a party, its alright mom. " I said.

"I never thought of you as the party type, especially since you have always been...socially impaired."

Ugh.

"Well, I am and I threw a big party with all of my friends.."

"That's great. I was actually calling because I have some rather swell news. For Christmas, I was thinking we could take a family vacation to Perth. We could all go. Your father and I and Lauren,Harry, and you and JJ. But, it seems you have !made even more friends which of love to get to know so why don't you bring them along?" She says.

Of course I'm surprised because of three reasons, one my family isn't the wealthiest especially since the recession, two my mom  dad don't always get along and three the boys don't know what Christmas is, nor are they the normalest (I know normalest isnt a word but honestly who gives a rats ass about technicalities, the damn story is about Barbie's coming to life) bunch of lads and I don't want my mum to think that I'm some type of freak.

"I really don't know mum they are only visiting for a little while and i don't want to overwhelm them with too many plans this holiday." I lie.

I hear my mum sigh. Expecting the worst reaction I am surprised at what she says.

"Well, alright sweetheart. I know you are probably having loads of fun and I feel terrible for trying to pressure you in to this vacation." She says.

"Oh dear, mum....no, just no. Don't think for one second that your are pressuring me at all. How about we all visit you for New Years? Me and JJ can make our round by yours to exchange presents on Christmas and then we can all do the family thing on New Years?" I really feel bad. I know how much Harry and Lauren probably miss me. I think this a good substitute for her plan. 

"My sweet boy, you are so responsible and so grown up. I think that is a great plan. I can't wait to see you love. I have to go drop Harry off at futbol  practice but call me later in the week okay?"

I smile to myself. I am so happy to have someone so understanding in my life.

"Of course mum. I love you."

"Love you also Ashton." She concludes before she hangs up. 

I can't help the smile on my face. I am just in one great mood. 

I realize I must have been pacing while i was on the phone and i see that i am no longer stood infront of Cal's door. I start walking the way I came until I catch a glimpse of a vending machine. I take a detour to buy me a drink and Michael some snacks. Ever since he ate for the first time food is all he can think about. Only a few feet away is my destination. Upon re entering I take notice of the weird scene displayed by my friends. Luke has JJ on his back and JJ's bandanna is over his eyes. Michael is twirling them in circles and with every turn they almost successfully knock something over or JJ almost hits Michael in the head. All the while Cal is laughing rather obnoxiously. I face palm. 

I clear my throat and Luke speaks up first "Ah, yes Dr. Irwin, I know what this must look like but it is not what you think. Me and my fellow Dr.'s Dr. Crazy Hair and Dr. Jaws are performing a rare form of surgery adapted from the circus that is ensured to cure the patient from all misery. " He says.
