BEATRICE THOMPSON WAS A KIND-HEARTED woman. She loved and cared for everyone she met, even the scumbag she called her ex-husband. But most of her love and attention went to her little girl. Clara Black.
Clara was born to a single parent. Her mother but that didn't mean she didn't have enough love to be both parents. Unfortunately, in the year 1992 it was announced that there was a deadly infection spreading across the country with no treatment and very little doctors to help. Symptoms included a rash, insomnia or sleeping issues, bubble like shapes on the leg and unexplained bruises.
As a mother Beatrice couldn't had been more upset, when her little girl started displaying similar symptoms. But what hurt even more was that Clara Black died at only age three and in her grieving mother's arms. Let's just say that when the people who had the infection died; oh boy they meant it.
Beatrice was most shocked when her three year old daughter rose to her feet again. Only it seemed she was blind or couldn't see properly because Clara kept patting the ground around her. Seemingly searching for her mother.
Luckily, for Bea there is an ex-police officer pounding on the door. Saving her from the possible dangers inside her house. The man she nicknamed the 'White Knight', seeing a he was her knight in shining armour and his hair was turning grey. He too had a little girl, she was older than Clara and was well still alive.
Bea was forever grateful to the man who save her life. A man they called Alejandro Carol.
