UNO PROJECT

Chapter 1: Leader

"What does it takes to be a true leader? Anyone want to answer?" The teacher asked

"Oh, You over there" He followed, And pointed his fingers towards our class president, Shinshiro.

"HM? Me? Well I guess, A leader is someone who CAN LEAD it's country, and can inspire them to be better right?" He answered

"That is correct" 

No, That's wrong, A true leader is someone who can make people follow him, A leader should be capable of changing it's own nation by himself and not rely on "Others" to do it for him, For example, This "Inspire them" is just a play of words, It basically means to "Trick them into doing something for you" You say motivational bullshit stuff like "Together we can make a difference" or "I need everyone to come together" I mean really, A great leader is someone who can do it alone without the need of participation from it's people. But those opinions of mine cannot be stated publicly or my quite youthful life would be over.

"Erm, Before the class ends, I need to announce something." The teacher teased

"As you all know, The election is coming up, And the alliance of world leaders have decided to start a brilliant project that would focus on nurturing the youth towards excellence. This project has been planned to happen ever since 2015 but they cannot because everyone has to agree to this, But now it has finally been approved and is set to be announced on public tomorrow. What this is is a project they call "Uno Project" Where the top 1000 performing academic students from all over the country will be transferred to a special school located somewhere in manila where we will be evolving them into someone who can lead this country"

(Bell rings)

A pain in the ass, Naturally this kind of thing is way out of my comfort zone cause I don't really like competing, But it's just that something within me wanted me to join, The devil inside me to be frank.

"Other details is for the chosen students only, Please check your email after going home to see if you're chosen. That is all from me goodbye class"

The teacher concluded

Devil inside me? What do I mean by that? Ever since I was little I get called "Devil" by everyone that surrounds me, They are all idiots that gets surprised when I do something everyone can do. "You're only a child yet you can solved this equation, That's amazing" No it's not, Anyone that opens a math book can do it regardless his age, They're just too dumb that a child answering complex mathematical questions surprises them. But that's not the reason they call me "devil" I am a devil because of the way I do things, I only do things that benefits me, Even if I need to step on others to do it, Why? Cause I only care about doing things myself, I don't like people interfering and questioning my way of things.

After that long-ass boring discussion I went straight home, Well it's not like I have other places to be in. Then, I checked my email and "BOOM" as expected I was chosen to be in this "Uno Project" But at least this email contains more information about that sketchy-as hell project-Thingy, I'll read the whole email for you guys"

"You are chosen to participate in UNO PROJECT along with 1000 more students, Please go to this address (****** ***** ****) next week on January 29. So what is UNO PROJECT? Since our country is going downhill the government decided to let the youths shine! You will be going through endless activities and exercises to become a great leader, The winner of UNO PROJECT or the top 1 of the school at the end of your 4 year high school would be the new president of our country, Pretty exciting huh? But also prepare for hell if you want to join. Additional info: You will live all 4 years inside the school's dorm, The rent, food, water, electricity are all free. Though you can buy more stuffs with "Stars" more about that next week! Good luck, Oh reminder; Once you failed you're school life is over, You'd be banned from entering any school, Just a little fun trade-off, So basically if you lose, You lose forever.
