"Now how are we getting to Egypt?" I ask Dick. He scratches his head for a second.
"The plane duh." He replies. "Our friend's saying there's a problem at her place." He says while the cab passes a number of buildings. I get it, I don't say anything and wait. Not too long we stop in front of a building with a plane stopping not to far from it. We get out and I look around. I notice that night has come. I look up to see the sky.
"It's harder to see the stars out here. Must be the buildings." I add. "Is this what these places look like? I never had to go to the airport." I ask.
"Thanks for the ride." He says paying the driver and closing the car door.
"Yeah, yeah, don't cause any trouble." the driver replies through the window.
"Ugh, yeah." The driver says. We walk up to the building.
"Do you know her?" I ask him. He puts his hands behind his head causing his hair to bunch up.
"Yeah, she's a classmate, well former classmate. I apparently gave her the impression that I make trouble where I go." He explains this while yawning.
"Well do you?" I ask as we go into the large building. He closes his eyes and groans.
He turns to me, "nah, I just look like a problem for some people. Not my fault." he tells me. I look him up and down. His dark hair and leather jacket really says a lot so I'd understand the thought.
"From what we've talked about, I don't think you're trouble." I remark. He sighs as my phone buzzes, I pull it out of my pocket and look. I got a notification from the forum telling us there's another post. Opening my phone and looking at it, it shows us a guy cloaked in a white robe with a strange symbol on his chest standing outside the entrance to a hallway. A skull surrounded by a diamond not connected by its sides. Another picture is sent, this time with a giant hand trying to cover himself from the photographer. His hand covered by a black glove. "Mommymummy990 is this Cairo?" I say out loud as I type it. The picture's setting looks out toward the pyramids while showing the man in an over the shoulder view.
Mommy replies "yes."
"You should run," a user named Honeybot texts. "This group has been following the same guy for the topic of this part of the forum. I hear they kill similar targets to that Rock guy."
"I got this, I'm still waiting for some people and I'll be just fine." Mummy responds on the post. We get a notification on our phones telling us Mummy texted us.
I look at the notification on my phone from Mummy, "You boys are coming right?" It was sent in a group text for me and Dick.
"Yeah, we'll be there by tomorrow or the day after." Dick texts while we walk through the entry way. Mummy sends a smiley face emoji along with a sweating face emoji.
"We'll be there, I promise," I text her.
"Can't wait to see you guys." her next text reads with a heart next to it. Walking inside, Dick moves a bit farther than me to lead me to one of the information booths.
"I hope you have a passport," he says. I pull my bag off my back, and pull my passport out from the bag. I zip up the bag and sling it back on my back.
"Dad had me get one last year for some reason. Do you?" I ask. He only nods while approaching the booth. He materializes a passport from his powers. The person in the booth asks for our destination. "Cairo, Egypt." I answer.
"Do you two have the money for the transport?" she asks. I pull out my wallet from my bag and put my debit card on the table.
"I can pay for myself, my friend here will pay for himself." I say. He nods as the lady starts typing on her pc.
