Off the plane, with my bag and Dick by my side. "So, do we know where we're going?" I ask.

"She'd meet us there." Dick responds. In the entry hall, we see a girl in what looks to be bandages wrapped on her, mostly covering her body. We both stared blankly. She waves at us excitedly.

"You know, she texts you a lot more than me, I'm getting jealous." I tell him while continuing to stare at the girl.

"I'm gonna let you in on a secret." he whispers back, leaning in my direction.

"What?" I ask.

"I don't care." he replies.

"Good point." I say. I think about it a little more.

Dick gets a text, "she sent a picture asking if this is us." he shows me the picture sent to him. It looks like us from across the hall.
"She just waved at guys she didn't know." I throw up my arm, and gesture for the woman across the hall to come closer. I wave my arm backwards and she comes over.

"Don't think about it. She's The worth it." The bandages sway on her legs, sort of hanging off in a loose leg bracelet. She stops in front of me with a smile on her face. "Dungeon master!" the lady says, her voice echoes through the room. She leans in for a hug arms out stretched. She smells like sand, along with the floor covered in it. I look up to see multiple different people looking in our direction with either disgust or suspicion. I look back down to the woman, her hair covering up her face. She smothes it back and reaches her arms back out.

"Mummy?" I ask. She looks up with excitement and hair on her face. I hug her and she hugs back tighter.

"Yeah, I'm glad to see you two, hi Burning halo." She says looking at Dick with excitement. Dick leans on his leg and waves to her gently. She pushes off of me to hug him next.

"What's going on? I thought you'd have us head to your place." Dick asks.

She presses her two pointer fingers together, "about that, that guy is waiting there, I thought it'd be easier to bring you guys with me. I don't get why they're there, but I can't take them alone. My subjects died a long time ago." She replies.

"So, you're an actual mummy?" I ask.

She nods, "Yeah, been awake for ten years this time. The enchantment must have really done a number on my body." She looks down at her sides and shakes them. More sand crumbles off of her. "Oh sorry I'm dirty, I was recently digging through my room in my casual clothes so I wasn't paying attention to my hygiene. I wanna get a shower later, but first I need my house clear of visitors." She explains.

"Let's go get your home back then, we don't have time to be homeless." I tell her. She smiles brightly at me.

"We are homeless if we stay on this journey." Dick comments. I look in his direction with eyes implying he shouldn't have said that. He smirks back.

"Yeah, I hope we can wrap this up, I wanna go to karaoke with you guys." Mummy says. She takes our hands and begins to pull on our arms. "I wanted to meet you two for the six years we've been texting, it's hard to put a face when you haven't seen one another for so at all." she adds.

Following along, "how long have you been waiting to see someone else?" I ask her.

"Not important, what's important is when I called you two." She says skipping the topic. I'll ignore that for now.

"I'm Dick, this is Marrel." Dick says knowing exactly what she just did. Running along with her, we follow her to the exit. She stops just outside the door and turns to see us.

"My name is Mommy, we can deal with the other details later." She says joyfully. We leave the airport, the sun beats down on us while we walk. I put my hand up to cover my face from the heat.
