II.

The morning after the intense situation betwen Ronal and the Sully's, I thought everything would get back to normal.. And I was right at some point. The people from our island calmed down, the weather was as nice as ever. However, there was one thing that bugged me..

When I got out of my pod I met with Ao'nung out of coincidence. I expected his usual morning eyeroll and groan when he sees me, but this time it was differrent.

"Good morning." He said with a smile making me turn my gaze to him.

" Oh, morning.." I furrowed my brows, and started walking away, but felt him approach me.

He started walking besides me. "How'd you sleep, considering the new neighbours?"

I sighed "As usual, they arent a threat, you know?"

He chuckled "You seem to be taking a liking to them. The whole 'I see you' thing with one of them..' he said cringing at the last part.

"Im just being polite. You should try it.. And why are you being so nice all of a sudden?" I questioned stopping in my tracks and crossing my arms.

He turned around and rolled his eyes "No reason! Jeez you hate it when Im mean, and when I try to be nice you dont like it either."

I sigh putting my palm on my forhead "What do you want, Ao'nung?"

He looked at me with a hurt look when I said that. "Nothing. Just go and hang out with those little brats you call students!" he scoffed and walked away.

Well, that was intense.

Then I felt another presence.

"Someone woke up on the wrong side of the bed." I turned around and saw the older boy from yesterday.

"Oh, yea.. Like every day. Ignore him." I laughed rubbing the back of my neck.

"Yeah, Im trying my best.. Oh. by the way, I'm Neteyam. I haven't gotten the chance to introduce myself properly last night." he said putting away a braid which was in the way of his face.

"That was kinda my fault, I just walked off. Sorry about that. I'm Y/N." I said with a smile.

"It's nice to meet you, Y/N. My siblings want to go for a swim, you can join us if you'd like." he said turning to walk away.

"I'd love to." I catch up to him and he started walking towards his pod. The walk there was silent with some small talk here and there.

When we finally made it, I saw Jake Sully, and his wife doing the little girls hair. I decided to get inside and introduce myself. Earning their attention, I did the oel ngati kameie with them.

"I hope you're taking a liking to the place, mr. and mrs. Sully. And you too, uhh.." "Tuk!' The little girl told me her name with a grin.

I smiled "Tuk..If you would like to, you can join us for swimming!" i said kneeling down to the girls height.

She looked at her mother for approval, earning a nod. "Yay! Thanks mom!"

She ran over to me grabbing my hand, and we left the pot saying our goodbyes. We saw the two brother ahead of us, being noticed by the younger one.

"Neteyamm, Loakkk!! Im coming with." Tuk said and the younger boy, whose name seems to be Loak, rolled his eyes.

"Tuk, no one wants you there!" he said, getting the girl to point at me. "Well too bad, Y/N invited me!" she said sticking her tongue out at the boy.

The older girl approached us and I smiled at her. They all jumped in the water like fools, making me laugh as I did it elegantly.

They looked around the water amazed by the creatures, and everything around. I smiled, but it faded as I saw my friends in the distance.

We all looked at them, and Tsireya told us in sign language to follow them. They couldn't understand, so I went in front and showed them the normal 'Follow me' gesture.

We all started swimming, and I cought up to my friends. We stopped tho when we relised they were far from us, already swimming up to catch their breath.

(Just to be clear, things written like this: 'Lets go' 'Where are we' with ' its sign language.)

'Whats wrong with them' 'They're bad divers' Rotxo and Ao'nung said but got cut off by Tsireya. 'Stop it, they're learning!'

'Lets go see whats wrong' I said swimming up to them.

"Is everything okay?" I say as I got up from the water. Ao'nung and the others got up too.

"You are too fast, wait for us!" Tuk told us and Ao'nung added. "You guy's arent good divers. Maybe good at swinging through trees but;" he shut up when Tsireya smacked him.

"We dont understand this, finger talk either." Neteyam said impressioning it. I put my hands against his putting them down. "We will teach you.." I said, feeling Ao'nungs sharp gaze on me.

"Hey guys, wheres Kiri?" Loak said looking around. "Kiri? Whos Kiri?" Rotxo added.

I dived underwater too look for her, however I found her in a short matter of time. I went behind her putting my hand on her shoulder, getting her attention.

I smile at her, touching a flower she was observing, when hundereds of beautiful small fishes came out of it swimming around us. She smiled and went back up for air.

I went after her "You seem to really like this place huh?" I asked and she nodded her head

"Im Kiri by the way. Sorry if I had you guys worried." "No wories.. Im Y/N!"

"There you are! I was worried for a second." Loak said and Tuk swam after her. "Kiriiii!!!"

I looked at Neteyam and we smiled at each other, but suddenly Ao'nung swam in between us glaring at Neteyam.

What's wrong with this guy, he was always trying to find excuses to call the marrige off, but now that I find a guy friend, hes all jealous and protective? Weirdo..

I guess he wasnt so careless after all..
