It was a deep black night when Angel wing was having her kits.
"I think this is the last one" said Mousetail. "I hope it is!" Gasped Angel wing as the second kit came out. "Quick Duskmoon! Start licking the kits!" Mousetail meowed.Duskmoon started to kick he tiny kit as Mousetail was licking the other one.Once they were breathing, they scrambled blinded up to Angel wing and started drinking her milk. "They're gorgeous!" Purred Duskmoon. "Yes,they are." Meowed Angel wing happily. "What should we name them?" Mewed Duskmoon softly.Angelwing looked up at Duskmoon with joy,yet half-awake eyes."Well,I already picked the she-kit's name.Ypu can name the tom."Purred Angelwing sleepily.Mousetail took her gaze of the two sweet bundles of fur and rested it at Angelwing,curiosity gleamed in her eyes."What's the she - kit's name?"She mewed."Falconkit."Angelwing replied with love in her tone."It's a beautiful name and it fits her well because of her fluffy white coat and light gray sides."Purred Mousetail.After a short silence,Duskmoon spoke with pride."We shall name the tom-".Suddenly,the nursery was drowned by a wave of darkness as the moon was blocked by a huge round thing.The cats shrunk back in horror,bristling their fur."What's happening?!"Whimpered Angelwing."I don't know."Said Mousetail quietly.The kits meweled in terror as if they were seeing it happen even though they're eyes were closed.It was only for a couple of heartbeats before moonlight spilled in the nursery once more.The cats started to ease their panic,making their fur lie flat again."I'm very glad that's over."Whispered Duskmoon,his voice trembling."Now where were we?"Meowed Mousetail."Oh ya."Meowed Duskmoon,clearly embarrassed."I want to name the tom Eclispekit because of his pure black pelt and red lines on his head and tail."Duskmoon lifted his chin up in pride.Angelwing purred deeply."It's a wonderful name,Duskmoon!"She then looked at her two precious bundles of black and white and nuzzle them with great love."So,Falconkit and Eclispekit.Welcome to NightClan."She whispered.
