It was a peaceful morning when the sun beams sliced through the bracken in the nursery.Eclispekit yawned and stretched his sleepy muscles."Ow!"Falconkit squealed."Get your clumsy paws out of my eye!"Eclispekit jerked back his legs instantly."S - Sorry Falconkit."He stammered.Falconkit just snorted and curled into a ball again.The light was shining in by now and Eclispekit wanted to go out of the nursery to play.He looked over his shoulder to check if Angelwing was sleeping,then he squeezed through the narrow and hidden gap out of the nursery.The cats were coming out if their dens when a Clan meeting was called."All cats old enough to walk through marsh mud,join here beneath the Dark Stone for a clan meeting."Willowstar's delicate voice echoed off the walls of the camp.Eclispekit was about to shuffle on over when Duskmoon saw him from the corner of his eye.Eclispekit gulped when his father was walking towards him.He tried to sprint back to the safety of the nursery when thick black paws stomped on the ground in front of him."And where do you thing you are going?I hopefully don't think you were trying to attend a clan meeting when up you know you can't walk through marsh mud yet."Amusement edged his voic,but Eclispekit didn't notice it.Duskmoon scooped Eclispekit up by the scruff gently,so his teeth wouldn't sink into his flesh."Let me go this instant!"Squealed Eclispekit as he struggled for something to grasp onto.
"You are going back to the nursery."Muffled Duskmoon with a pile of fur in his mouth."LET ME GO!!"Yowled Eclispekit as he pawed at his father's eyes.
Duskmoon didn't flinch when Eclispekit ' s tiny claws accidently scratched a bit of his eye. {He must be very strong}Thought Eclispekit still struggling.Then his scruff was released and he fell softly onto Bracken and twigs."Stay here until I say you can go."grumbled Duskmoon,careful not to wake the kits or the queens. Eclispekit watched as his father push through the moss and Bracken and disappeared. {It's not fair!}Eclispekit thought {Why can't kits hear what they have to say and every other cat can?}Eclispekit batted a moss ball in anger and curiosity.He batted too hard and the moss ball went flying.He gasped and panicked as the moss ball was.......
