Jacob x reader

Chapter 2- The last howl.

(Trigger warnning there will be a lot of blood and fighting in this part please turn away if you are uncomfortable. Underlined means text mesages F/c means Fur color and 'This means thinking to yourself or talking with another wolf.'  )

                               The night lay silent. Dozing off in your small room you could hear the small patter of footfall from the small critters that hid within the day waiting to go after small bugs or insects. Something was wrong. 'Someone's coming.' That voice ringed in your head. Self aware now you moved up still tired from running in the evening. The door squeaked open which you went down. "This house smells like dog." A woman with red hair whisperd to someone. "We need to feed and this was the farthest house from the border and near a cliff. I thought the newbies in town would like a welcome gift." The male whisperd. Fighting with them both you were too late to save your family. Everything gone. Growling you bit onto the female throwing her a couple feet away. Giving a howl you bolted for the cliff. Stopping at it the pain was catching up to you. "Little pig where do you run?" The Girl stood a couple feet away from you. While you had been fighting they hadn't realized how early in the morning it was. The morning sun reached above you causing them to sheild their eyes. Throwing them off the cliff you saw them swimming for the rock and sprinted for the vampire territory. 'Better loose them now than wait for them to kill me properly this time.' Moving for the river you stopped in exshaustion. Snapping branches caught you off gaurd as you looked up to see a brown wolf about your height but you were a little bit shorter. 'Who are you?'

Jacob's P.O.V That howl woke me up late at night. I must have been the only one who heard it. Looking at the time it was around 5-ish. Who would be howling at 5 in the morning. Going to the river I thought maybe they had found a vampire. My paws snapped some of the brush and I heard a growl. Going to the source it was a wolf with f/c fur. 'Who are you?' They asked me. 'Woah,Woah calm down I'm not a threat I heard a hwol was that you?' 'Yeah that was me... But you're too late. My family is gone now.' That's what happened the girl lost her family. 'Any way how I can help? You're injured shouldn't you get medical attention?' 'Well if you have a place i'm all ears.' 'Come with me i'm sure my dad won't mind helping out you just wait here until I get his permission.' The girl nodded as I went to my dad. "Hey there's a Wolf shifter who got in a fight with a couple of the vampires can we help them out?" "Yes. Bring them in the girls will help them out. They are a female right?" "Yeah." "Alright I'll shift letting her know it's alright. Anything I should know?" "They lost their family during the fight so I wouldn't bring it up." Dad nodded as we went to the wolf. She seemed hesitant but trusted us enough. The girls bandaged her wounds making sure the rubbing acohol didn't effect her wounds. 

Y/n's P.O.V Jacob texted me and I looked at the phone. 

Jacob: Hey are you coming to school today?

                                                                                         Y/n: No. Sorry something came up with my sibling                                                                                                                             need to make sure that they're okay.

Jacob: I'll grab your homework so you're not missing out on anything. Are you coming to my house when I get finished with school?

                                                                                                   Y/n: I'll think about it alright?

Jacob: Alright.

Y/n's P.O.V How was I going to tell my friends that I lost my family? I should have not lashed out maybe this wouldn't have happened. No. It would have happened no matter what. Putting on a clean shirt that wasn't blood stained you looked at the bracelet. 'Are you a good luck or bad luck charm for me?' Deciding to go into town you bumped into a girl. "Sorry about that I wasn't looking where I was going." "It's alright. Wait aren't you Y/n L/n?" "I am why?" "I have you in Ela. I'm Bella Swan." "Well formal greetings if I hadn't met you before. I'm not a people person. But it's nice to meet you Bella." Shaking her hand you smiled. A fake one. "Alright well I'm going to the bookstore maybe see you tomorow?" "Sure." Moving seperate ways you went back to Jacob's house. 

Jacob's P.O.V "Y/n!" I went up to her and hugged her. "It's good to see you as well Jacob." "Look another nickname in case if you want to call me you can call me Jake." "I'll take the offer. Anyways I need to talk to your sister." "I'll get her." Going to his sister you asked if you could crash for the night. To be honest she was fine with it since there was another girl. "Just don't bring it up with them. I'll tell them about the wolf and everything else when I'm ready." SHe nodded before opening the cot which fit perfectly in the room. "You can stay for as long as you need. Just don't mess up my room got it?" "Got it." Sleep wouldn't come easily but when it came you wonderd about your life with this family.
