The call

Eddie's pov
I woke up at 9 am. Man I am hungry I did not eat diner. I go to the kitchen and I make cereal. I eat the cereal then I just sit in the chair at the table and I had this feeling like I was depressed. I don't know why I felt this way I also felt sick but not like sick sick like... someone is ignoring me. "That is who" I say to myself figuring out why I felt like this.

Y/n's pov
I woke up my Richie screaming "wakeee uppp" he screams "ugh what Richie" I say annoyed "mom made us pancakes! Our favorite breakfast!!" Richie says exited. "Oh um- I'm not hungry." I say.

Richie's pov
That is weird y/n loves pancakes. Is she ok... I can't stress this it is probably nothing. "Ok, more for me!" I say laughing.
I walk down and tell mom that Y/N is not hungry. "Weird." My mom says. We sat down and ate pancakes. "Hey mom?" I ask "yeah?" She responded. "Umm when is.. dad coming home from the army?..." I ask. I am scared of what her response will be.

"I don't know when but hopefully soon" she says and Changes the subject "so how is you summer going?" She asks.
Man I hate when she changes the subject. "It is great" I say as I finish my food and go up to my room.

Y/n's pov
The real reason I was so called "not hungry" was because when I saw Beverly at the quarry I saw how pretty her body was. I wish I was that beautiful. All the boys look at her in awe, I wish I had beauty like that. Man I can only dream.

Then my phone rings. I walk over and pick it up "hm" I say "hey it is Eddie" oh shit eddie. "hello." I responded. "Y/n why are you ignoring me? We used to be so close but since like a 6th grade you have like closed off. We just finished 7th grade and after this summer we will be in 8th. So why have you been so closed off?"
I don't know how to respond to that umm." first you we're ignoring me.If you wanted to talk you could have talked to me. And I don't know I changed I guess. " I say

then someone calls my name. "I have to go Bye." then I hung up. I go downstairs and see my mom. "what do you need?" I ask. "Just making sure your ok and all. Also how are you and, Eddieeee???!!!" she says "mom you know I don't like him like that jezz." "ok ok" I walk back to my room and lay on my bed. Thinking about the call.
