As he regained consciousness, he found himself lying on the ground on a bustling sidewalk in an unfamiliar place. The darkness that once enveloped him had been replaced by a bright light, leaving him disoriented and confused. He rubbed his eyes, trying to clear the fuzziness that clouded his vision, as he tried to piece together his last memories. He remembered smiling down at Sasuke after breaking the Edo Tensei.

As he sat there gathering his thoughts, he took in his surroundings and was struck by the sheer size of the place. The buildings were massive, towering over anything he had seen before. In fact, they were at least five times larger than the Kage Towers in the Hidden Villages, which were considered to be the largest buildings around. The structures seemed to be primarily made of glass, but he couldn't be sure. Despite his confusion and headache, he couldn't help but feel a sense of wonder as he explored this new and strange world.

After conducting extensive research for approximately two hours, Itachi discovered several intriguing aspects of this new world he found himself in. To his surprise, he learned that there was no concept of chakra, which was a fundamental part of his previous life. Nevertheless, after performing a chakra test, he was pleased to discover that he still possessed his eternal Mangekyou Sharingan, although he couldn't explain how he came to possess it.

During his research, Itachi also came across heroes with peculiar names that elicited a mild chuckle from him. Names like The Flash from Central City, The Arrow from Starling City, and Supergirl from National City were just a few examples. He spent several more hours at the library, using his newly activated Sharingan to get familiar with his surroundings and to learn about the planet's history, including wars and key events in its evolution.

With a desire to blend in and avoid standing out, Itachi realized that he needed to change his attire. He procured the necessary funds by putting several people under genjutsu and used the money to purchase new clothes, groceries, and temporary lodgings. Although he knew that stealing was wrong and went against his mother's teachings, he saw no other way to survive in this new world.

As he left a store, he inadvertently collided with a beautiful blond woman, causing her coffee to spill on her bare arm. Despite the situation, Itachi noticed that she didn't seem to react to the spill and remained unperturbed, which struck him as odd for a civilian. However, he attributed her resilience to the possibility of the people in this world being more durable than those in his previous world. "I'm so sorry, I didn't see you there," the woman apologized, to which Itachi responded with his usual stoic demeanor, "It's alright, nothing to worry about. Sorry about your drink." The woman tried to conceal her annoyance with a smile, but Itachi could easily see through her facade.

Not wanting to come across as rude, Itachi offered to buy Kara a new coffee. Despite her initial reluctance, she eventually agreed after Itachi persistently insisted. "I'm Kara, by the way. Kara Danvers," she introduced herself with a warm and friendly tone. "It's nice to meet you, Kara," Itachi introduced himself in return.

"That's an unusual name," Kara commented, finding the name strange even by her own standards, considering she was from another planet. But she chose not to reveal that information to Itachi. "It's foreign, and I'm just visiting the city," he simply replied, not wanting to give away too much information about himself.

"Are you from around here or just visiting?" Itachi asked, trying to make small talk and gather information about Kara. "I live here and work at a magazine publishing company called CatCo," she replied. "How long have you lived here?" Itachi probed further, sensing that Kara could potentially be of use if he could get her to feel comfortable around him.

"I've lived here most of my life, but I grew up in a small town near the city with my foster family," Kara revealed. "Oh, so you're an orphan?" Itachi asked, to which Kara responded with a hint of sadness in her voice, "Yeah, my parents passed away in a fire when I was twelve."
