Chapter 17 New plan, new deal

While I drove out of the drive away Lana says, 

"You know I still have to turn you in, right?"

 I sigh, "Yeah I know"

 "Or you help me," I turn my head when I hear what she just did.

 "Don't worry I talked to my boss he said it was risky, but I could do it.

 You could work with me instead of rotting in a cell." 

"Okay, I'll bite, what's our first assignment?"

 "Can I trust you?" "Yeah," I reply while my eyes are on the road.

 "Well our first assignment would be taking down your organization." 

"Okay, what's the catch?"

 "You have to wear a boot in case you escape then the CIA can track you down, then you get your full sentence."

 "Now  why would I escape? I would be loosing my freedom."

 "You had freedom to do whatever you wanted to do since you were 5."

 "True," I say while Lana laughs.

 I turn into the hotel Lana asks, "So are you in?"

 I hesitate for half second then I say, "Yeah."

 I park the car, get out of the driver's seat carry my luggage while Lana carries hers.

 When we get in the room I immediately flop on the bed in exhaustion. 

Lana laughs when I say, "Love my family, but they are very exhausting."

 I chuckle a little bit after saying that, I close my eyes trying to fall asleep. 

Lana says, "Your gonna need your beauty sleep, we got big day tomorrow," 

as she says that I open one eye while she flops on her bed.

 I laugh and then I close my eyes again. 

The next thing I know I'm dreaming about a nightmare, Lana hits me with something, 

I almost immediately stand up, my eye open, the nightmare is over all I see is light.

 Lana looks concerned at me, I just laugh and say, "I've been having nightmares for over 25 years."

 "You should have seen someone about that."

 I chuckle and say, 

"The organization didn't have that because he thought it would make us better assassins.

 Nightmares were normal, my nightmare's are usually about the victims." 

Lana looks at me with sad eyes, I look away from here and start getting my new clothes on. 

I hear Lana sigh behind me, I exhale in relief and continue putting my clothes on. 

We leave the hotel and head to the airport in silence.

 We go Chicago O'Hare Airport pull out our passports.

 I listen to music, eat, and sleep on the plane. 

We land in Saint Petersburg, took 10 hours just to get there.

 I was ready to take on one place that took my freedom, and I wanted to burn it down.
