The Perfect Storm

Chapter twelve

A full twenty-four hours until Thursday which is tomorrow! An excessively big day for me, but more for Suki.

I woke up two hours before my alarm, so I quietly got dressed and ready for school, and set my bag down when I got into the kitchen. I got eggs, bacon meat, pancakes mix and started cooking everything. Suki is still asleep, and I want to make everything special. I got done cooking, I made three plates, also made sure the plates were how Suki and mom would like it. After I set the table for breakfast, I got back into our room and gently woke up Suki. "Baby, it's time to wake up and get ready for school." I said and kissed her forehead, she started to groan then slowly kicked the blanket off her. "What time is it?" Suki asked, rubbing her eyes. I chuckled and turned on the desk lamp. "Time to get your sexy ass in the shower and get ready for school or your breakfast is going to get cold." I said heading out the bedroom, I heard bare feet turn to the bathroom, I shook my head.

Maybe I should have led with that first?

I head up to mom's room to wake her up. I knocked on the door, I heard no answer, opening the door slowly looking in. "Mom, I made breakfast. It's your favorite." I said loud enough for her to hear me. The desk lamp came on. "Okay, I am up. I will be down in a second. She says sitting up, closed the door and headed downstairs. I got into the kitchen and saw Suki dressed by her plate, waiting patiently. "Did you have a good night rest my love?" I asked, kissing her cheek as I sat down in front of my plate that was next to her. "Yes, I slept well, what's all this?" She asked with a smile. "Austin wanted to be sweet and make us breakfast." Mom said as she came into the kitchen, she sat in front of her plate. "Now let's all dig in before we're late to reality." I nodded in agreement as I dug into my food. 

That was a close one.

I did not know what I was going to say if my mom did not save my ass. Hopefully today goes by fast. We finished our breakfast, I put everyone's dishes in the sink then washed them quickly and put them in the dishwasher. I was the first one with my plate done ... Okay that was a lie, Suki was the first and I was the second one done. Ugh, okay that was a lie too. Mom and Suki both beat me today, I am losing my game! "Mom, we're going to head to school now, see you soon." I told her and kissed her cheek. "Love you mom." Suki says kissing her cheek as well before we head out the door. We got to school earlier than usual, and school has not started yet, so we have time to hang out with our friends who are from different groups. I kissed Suki before she went to her friend, I watched her leave. "Austin, I know you're starting at my ass." Suki said turning around, giving me the 'really' look. I chuckled while giving her a side way smirk. "I'm sorry, baby girl, but that ass is sexy." I told her and I got a shake of her head with an eye rolling; she turned around and headed over to her friends. I headed to my friends as well. Cooper ran over to me before I knew it, I am off the ground. "Captain! Captain! Captain!" Everyone chanted and circled around me when Cooper put me down. "Who's going to win the game?" I spoke. "We are!" My teammates shouted back. "Who's going to lose this game?" I asked. "They are!" They replied. "Damn right, they are!" I shouted with a smile on my face. "Okay guys here's the cold truth. Behind y'all back I've been training Cooper how to do my part just in case I'm not going to be there." I said, looking at them as I watched their faces drop. "But we know that's not going to happen right, cap?" Cooper says biting his lip. "Well, it might since my girl has something going on and it will cause me to miss the game, if that happens y'all promise me win that game." I said as I put my hand up then everyone did the same. "One, two, three, GO LIONS!" We all said together, before walking off towards the school, my teammates promised me that they will win the game if I am not there, and Cooper must take my place.

Damn let me tell you today went by hell fast.

First period Frank was shocked to see I was on time, his face was priceless. Alice, my math partner was so happy for me and Suki. Yes, she knows. Cooper is still talking with Becca that was sickening to watch. Second period, I got to see my baby girl. We know English is so easy for me, basically that class went by fast. French, well what is there to talk about then fourth and fifth was football same old shit getting ready for the game. Jimmy stopped by for a bit asking if I am ready, I laughed telling him yes. Fifth period I got to act with Rylee and that was cool. I stayed after school to wait for Suki, I took her to get some food, brought back some food for mom. When I gave mom her food, she winked at me and wished me the best of luck tomorrow.

Even though I really do not need it since I know Suki would say yes to marrying me because who would not yeah, yeah Mr. big ego I know, I am sorry got little carried away here.

I smiled at her, giving mom a goodnight hug. We got ready for bed, I came out of the bathroom with Suki reading a book, I climbed into bed. "What are you reading my love?" I asked her, kissing her cheek. "Mhmm." She replied, not paying attention to me, I rolled my eyes. "Babyyy." I whined. She let out a sigh, putting the book down, but she saved her place. "The game of thrones." She answered my question finally. "That's a book?" I thought out loud. Suki nodded and curled up against me. "I love you my silly bookworm." I said wrapping my arms around her. "I love you more, my nerdy football captain." She says and I feel her smile against my skin, and I could not help, but smile back.

I seriously cannot wait to marry her.
