Chapter 29 : I'm Not Even Afraid, so What're You Afraid Of?

Jeon Juwon looked at Park Seo-joon in disbelief. He hadn't expected Park Seo-joon to do such a thing.

Even Jungkook was visibly shocked.

Park Seo-joon passed the check to him. "If there's anything the Park family can help with, you can come to me."

"I don't want this check," Jeon Juwon said.

Even though the police had concluded the car accident, he still believed that the Park family wasn't innocent.

Even though Park Seo-joon had good intentions, he couldn't possibly take his money.

Lisa subconsciously looked at Jungkook. His expression was indifferent, and it was evident that he had no intention of persuading his father.

However, Mingyu, who was next to him, smiled. "I don't understand what the Park family is thinking. Back then, they'd tried so hard to get the Jeon family's chip technology, and now they're here to express their goodwill. Did they really think nothing happened? The only witness is dead, but that doesn't mean we have no evidence."

Park Seo-joon frowned. "What witness? What evidence?"

Park Seo-joon gave Jungkook a deep look. "If you find evidence of the Park family, you can report it to the police."

"Of course," Jungkook replied.

"You need money right now, so you should just keep the check." Lisa couldn't help but say.

Jungkook said coldly, "I appreciate your kindness, but I don't need the check."

The father and son's attitudes were the same.

Park Seo-joon sighed and didn't insist.

He still had matters to attend to and had to return to the corporation. Lisa thought of the few words that Mingyu had said and couldn't help but feel worried.

Jungkook and Mingyu had just stepped out of the hospital when they saw Lisa at the entrance.

"What're you still doing here?" Mingyu was surprised.

"I want to ask you, what did you mean by that?"

Mingyu smiled. "Sorry, I can't tell you."

Lisa knew he wasn't willing to tell her because of Jungkook.

"Jeon jungkook,"

Seeing that the two of them were about to get into the car, Lisa caught up with them. "Since you've found evidence related to the Park family, why didn't you tell the police and let them reinvestigate?"

She felt a little angry for some reason. "I've never doubted that the Park family can withstand an investigation. I'm not even afraid, so what're you afraid of? Don't tell me that your so-called evidence is just groundless accusations and can't be established?"

Jungkook stopped in his tracks and turned around slowly. His dark eyes were like a misty abyss, and it was hard to see through them.

"I didn't hand over the evidence to the police because it wasn't enough to convict the real murderer."

"Park Lisa," Jungkook said slowly. "Why don't you go back and check the transaction records in your Switzerland bank account before you decide whether the Park family is innocent or not?"

The transaction records he'd found were under Park Lisa's name.

Just as she was about to ask further, Jungkook and Mingyu had already left without looking back.

When Lisa returned home, she rummaged through her belongings and found a Platinum card from a Switzerland bank.

It happened a month before her 18th birthday. Park Seo-joon opened a Switzerland bank for when she flew to Europe. However, she threw it aside after she returned and never used it again.

Lisa logged into her account and checked the transaction records. Her expression changed slightly.

This card had transferred millions of won in two separate transactions in the past few months, and she didn't even recognize the receiver's name!

She suddenly remembered something and hurried downstairs. "Uncle Lee, come with me to the Oh family."

On the way there, Lisa gave Choi Minho a call. She sent him the receiver's name, asking him to check the relevant information.

Minho quickly returned the call. "Young Miss, this person is a repairman from the 4S shop who fell to his death a few days ago because he was drunk. Why are you investigating him?"

"Which 4S shop?"

"It's the 4S shop that Chou Yejun used to go to when he was still alive,"

Lisa was stunned. Someone had used her card to transfer tens of millions of won to this maintenance worker. What was their intention?

When they arrived at the Oh family home, Oh Sehun was about to head out when he saw Lisa. "Lisa? Why're you here?"

When the Park family was in trouble, Sehun often called Lisa. He wanted to comfort her, but Lisa always said she was busy and didn't have time.

Lisa thought about the witness that Mingyu had mentioned, then thought about the car accident and the strange death of the repairman.
