It's the middle of May, and I was walking to school with my best friend, Brennen. He was very quiet today, even though it was a bright Friday morning. I just passed it off as him being tired as I proceeded to ramble on about the new Majora's Mask game for 3DS. I looked over to see if he was listening, and I noticed something on his cheek. Blood. I just stopped talking and kept walking with a stoic face. He ignored me all day.

May 19 5:00 PM
I'm running for my life, somebody is chasing me. I don't know who they are, but they have black hair, an unforgiving grin.

May 19 5:18 PM
They almost caught me, but I was too quick. They grabbed onto my arm and that's when I noticed that there were long, black, pointed nails on their hands.

May 19 6:13 PM
My arm won't stop bleeding. It's been about an hour, but still blood gushes from my arm like a waterfall. I can feel them watching, no, /waiting/ in the shadows.

May 19 7:38 PM
They got me. I don't know why they were chasing me, but they got me. I'm bleeding everywhere, my head hurts, I can't feel my left arm. I look over, my arm is missing. I'm in a small, dark space right now, and the only thing I can hear is their breathing and my sharp cries of pain as I try to move. I feel so tired. Maybe if i could just close my eyes...

May 19 10:08 PM
I woke up to hear somebody crying in the room I was in. Wait, room? I can see! It's not dark anymore! My excitement is cut short as I turn my head to see my attacker. Black, shaggy hair covers his eyes, a thin black jacket hanging off his torso, with no shirt underneath. His chest was scrawny, and covered in deep scratches, with a large indent where the heart should be. Black jeans with rips, and black shoes, this man was the definition of shadow. He lifted his blood covered face at me, tear stained and grimacing, and uttered one thing. "I'm so sorry..." I passed out.

May 20 3 AM I woke up to the feeling of someone tugging at my skin. I looked around me, a small lamp sat in the corner of the room. The man from before was wrapping bandages around the stub of arm I had left. I looked up at his face to see tears falling from his cheeks, onto my shoulder. I realize now that the only thing covering me was a tank top, and his jacket draped over my waist. He spoke again, "Do you know who I am?" His voice registered in my head. "...Brennen?"
