Hello and welcome to the third book of the New Olympians Saga, Eyes of the Storm! This is the book following the previous sequel, Thirteenth Unleashed, which is also preceded by Rise of the New Olympians, the book that started it all! So, if you have no idea what's happening, go over to RNO to start! The book you're in is a sequel and cannot be read as a standalone. (Well, you can read it by itself---I won't judge---but things won't make sense if you do XD)
Wow! I can't believe I'm even reaching this point in my beloved series---well, I still can't believe that I'm even writing a series. Thank goodness I've managed to find something to fill the void that's been filling me with existential dread for a long time ago.
Enough about that haha. Just like the last two books, expect more enemies, more twists, and definitely more Artifacts to satisfy your thirst for adventure! But this time, I've done something a little bit different, which is too important to not mention at this point: the book is written in multiple POVs!
Why's that? Well, other than wanting to experiment with new things for future works, I felt that the series has come to a point where it's too big for one perspective to cover. Sooner or later, I knew that Amelia, as much as I love our resident Redhead, couldn't cover the entirety of the main story without missing lots of important events and details that would happen outside her point of view. Thus, I've decided to add two more POVs to support our existing main protagonist's view. So, in other words, you'll see the story in more than one pair of eyes (The title, anyone? lol). Exciting, right?!
As for who these two people are, you'll have to continue reading to find out for yourself (*wink wink*). I'm very excited to show what I have written, and I hope I'll do justice to the voices of these characters! As always, this is a first draft and it's beyond perfect, so all constructive criticisms are much appreciated.
