Everyone's room was lavish, beautiful red carpets with gold trimming, a huge bed with drapes, a few red, cushiony chairs, a small desk and a big window. To say the least, the rooms were gorgeous. Sebastian examined the room while Ciel sat down in one of the few chairs, sinking into the plush fabric. Sebastian's attention was caught when Ciel cleared his throat, "Did you find anything... interesting... about the girl?" Sebastian nodded, "Yes, my lord. It seems as if she is not human, yet I fail to see exactly what she is. She's not a demon, I'd be able to smell right away yet she isn't human." Ciel rose an eyebrow, "How do you know she's not human?" "She-" Sebastian was suddenly cut off by the door being thrown open and a body throwing itself on him. "Oh Bassy! I missed you!" Grell cried dramatically, waving his arms around for emphasis.  Sebastian rubbed his temples in annoyance while Ciel looked on in amusement. Alois and Claude stepped into the room and Ciel drew his attention away from the red reaper (*cough* totally not a cherry *cough*). "Come on! Let's go explore!" Alois said, clearly excited at the prospect of exploring the large mansion and Ciel gave a small nod, "I'd like to explore as well." Sebastian pried the red head off of him and dusted himself off, "I'd like to me the other occupants of this mansion, from the way (y/n) put it, it seems as if they too are strange."

        You snickered as you beat BEN at Mario Kart, said gamer throwing his 3DS on the ground in a rage. "I don't know how you do it! I'm supposed to be the gamer here, not you!" "Heh, I guess I'm just that good." BEN scowled at you before you got up, in which his scowl turned into a look of curiosity. "I'm gonna go run around," You grinned, "Gotta stretch the limbs. I've been sitting for far too long." BEN rolled his eyes as you left the room, picking his game back up and going back to beating the CPUs. The walk to the front door was for the most part uneventful, just a small run in with EJ and you were on your way to the forest. The night air was cold and crisp, automatically relaxing your limbs as you stepped onto the porch. "Going for another romp in the forest~?" A voice cooed, and you grinned as you recognized it. "Thanatos~!" Thanatos jumped off the railing, landing on the porch with a soft thud before he made his way over to you; his pure white eyes gave off a soft glow, and his grin widened as he neared your feet. "Mind if I join you?" Thanatos was probably your best friend. He had originally been your house pet back when you were still human, but he had been changed into this when you had. The two of you were connected in a sense, meaning you knew exactly where the other was at all times and could even communicate telepathically. Thanatos, or Thanny as you liked to call him, was a demon cat; his coat was black, in fact it was pure black and sucked up all the light around him like a black hole while his eyes and toothy grin were white, and each gave off a soft glow. You grinned, "Wanna race?" Thanatos made a motion the looked like he rolled his eyes and scoffed. "No, I am not going through that again. It was not fun, not at all. I'll just ride on your back, thank you very much." You snickered before stepping off the porch and heading towards the woods, Thanatos right behind you. The sun was on its way up, light hues of red and gold shining in the sky. You'd have an hour maybe before you had to return, meaning you had just enough time to take your nightly run. You closed your eyes, thinking of wolves before you felt your spine popping; your limbs contracted and stretched, turning into those of a wolf while your nose changed into a snout and a pair of wolf ears grew on your head. Your paws and the spot around your right eye were a lighter shade of (f/c), while the rest of your coat was (f/c). Thanatos hopped up on your back and dug his thick claws into your fur.

Thanny, you ready?!

 

I hate that nickname...

I'll take that as a yes!

        "Sebastian, you never told me how you know she isn't human." Ciel said, gazing up at Sebastian while said demon smirked. "It seems, young master, that (y/n) does not have a soul."

(Hello my Ingots! So, I'm sure you noticed Thanatos, correct? And I assume you're wondering who the fuck Thanatos is, correct? Well I couldn't help but put him in this. He won't play a huge part in the story, he'll simply be there for something that I have planned in future chapters! So as to who he is, he was just a small doodle I did in Math. My friends happened to notice the doodle and were all like "OMG HE'S YOUR FREAKING PET" and I was like "Aight sure I'm down for it" and then we brainstormed names. And that my friends, is how Thanatos was created. According to my friends, he's my "demon cat pet" and he is quite adorable! I love him! x3)
