Chapter 10

(Now)

Patrick punched Pete and Pete gasped, trying to push Patrick off. He kicked him back and got up and ran but at that moment Patrick manages to get the metal pole and stab it through Pete's stomach. Pete froze, eyes wide, blood dripping from the corner of his mouth. He coughed, falling to his knees, pulling out the metal bar. He gasped and coughed more, the pain was building up fast. Patrick laughed, not realizing Pete had grabbed a knife. Pete got up, stumbling but ran at Patrick and stabbed the knife into his stomach a few times. Patrick yelled and pushed Pete off. Pete fell onto his side, closing his eyes after a few moments, barely moving. Patrick fell to his knees and stared down at Pete. Tears pooled up in his eyes as he felt the hold on his mind break and he realized what he had done. The tears streamed down his cheeks. He crawled over to Pete, "P-Pete?" he whispered. He laid next to Pete and cried, "Pete..I-Im...sorry. Im so sorry Pete. I love you so much" He leaned over and kissed Pete gently and then laid his head on Pete's chest, not moving, his heartbeat gone. Pete managed to wake up a little and move his arms around Patrick. He kissed Patrick's head softly and murmured, "It's okay Patrick...It wasn't your fault. I'll see you soon" He smiled and rested his head on Patrick's, slowly closing his eyes, dying next to the man he loved for so long.
