"I can't believe it! My whole life I've wanted to see a real live superbark You are legendary!" Rhino says as he chuckles in excitement before walking off.
"Mittens? Alexis? If... If I don't chase bad guys then what am I? I mean what-" Bolt then gets cut off by Alexis while sitting down sadly.
"Don't worry about it Bolt." Alexis says as she smiles kindly.
"Being a regular dog is like the greatest gig in the world. Okay? Look. I'm gonna let you in on a little secret okay? A little-known cat secret. You know why we hate dogs? Because we wanna be dogs. We have dog complexes." Mittens says as she smiles.
"But... But what do dogs do?" Bolt asks sadly.
"Slobber, sleep, chase tails, chew shoes. You don't exactly need a master's degree." Mittens says.
"I'm a fine example of that." Alexis says.
"You know most dogs live in a place like this and well I don't know. They do things like..." Mittens says as Bolt follows her and Alexis
*Timeskip*
"Out of this?! But... But..." Bolt says in disgust after Mittens tells him some dogs drink front the toilet.
"Hey it's a dog thing. Not that I would ever do it because I agree it's disgusting but this is my favorite thing. This is your dog bowl." Alexis says as Mittens and Bolt follow her to the kitchen.
"What is?" Bolt asks as he looks at Alexis.
"The floor. The entire floor. It lands on the floor and it's fair game to the hound." Alexis says happily.
"And on cold nights, this and a ball of yarn... It doesn't get better than that." Mittens says as she, Alexis, and Bolt go over to a fireplace.
"Or a nice soft blanket or dog bed with a soup bone." Alexis says contently.
"You uh... You seem to know a lot about these places." Bolt says as he looks at Mittens.
"Yeah I did my time in one of these. But I'm more of an alley cat at heart you know? Sprung out first chance I got. Never looked back." Mittens says.
"What about you Alexis?" Bolt asks as Alexis looks at him.
"Yeah well I was once a show dog. But after it was found out I was a wolf and not just a slender husky I got kicked out. Especially after I lost a competition. Since then Mittens has been my companionship." Alexis says as she looks at Mittens.
"I'm sorry." Bolt says sympathetically.
"Don't be. It's alright." Alexis says as the group hears echoing.
"Rhino is awesome! He's so awesome! He's... He's beyond awesome! He... He's be-awesome! He's ah! I... Am be-awesome." Rhino says as he is by a air vent before Bolt smiles at the cool air upon sticking his face next to the vent.
"I think it's about time I introduced you to the regular dog piece de résistance." Mittens says as she goes up to a window.
"Go ahead. Stick your head out." Alexis says as Mittens opens a window.
"Why?" Bolt asks curiously.
"Just do it. You'll love it." Alexis says.
"Whoa! This... This is awesome!" Bolt says as he sticks his head out the window and feels the wind hitting his face.
"And stick your tongue out." Mittens says.
"This is totally awesome! Why don't you try it?" Bolt asks excitedly as he sticks his tongue out.
"No, thanks. It's really a dog thing." Mittens says as Alexis smiles softly seeing how happy Bolt is.
