Elena's phone rings, she answers, it's Damon "Hey. Are you checking up on me? Because I'm fine"
"Yeah. So you might not want to come here for a while. We have a new housemate" Damon pauses "Barbie Klaus"
"Rebekah? She's living with you now? Why?" Elena questions.
"She's stranded. Apparently Klaus left her in the dust after I name-dropped Mikael"
"What about Stefan? What is he up to?" Elena asks as she was worried about Stefan.
"Oh, you know Stefan. Journaling, reading, shaping his hair"
"Come on, Damon. I can handle it. What?"
"Is that the bell? Oh Ring! Ring! Don't want to be late!" He hangs up.
Elena sighs as she puts her phone away, she turns around and Brie was standing behind her. She was in complete shock "Oh my god Brie" she runs over to her and gives her a hug "What are you doing here?"
Brie hugs back "Back in town for a bit. I missed everyone wanted to come visit. How are you?" Brie asks as Elena pulls away.
"You heard? Brie nods "Damon?" Brie nods again "I am doing okay considering"
"We will get him back Elena. Thats another reason why I'm here"
Elena slowly nods "I appreciate you coming back to help Stefan. Its been really bad Brie. Klaus compelled him to turn it all off and he's back being a ripper"
"I know its gonna be hard but we just gotta stick together and pull through. Its gonna take a lot to get Stefan to get his humanity back but once Mikael is up and kills Klaus then that should help"
Caroline is putting up a flyer on the wall which says "Spirit Squad Back-to-school Bonfire"
"I forgot about the bonfire" Elena says walking up.
"You have to go. It's our first spirit squad event. And it sets the bar for the whole year" Caroline turns around and see's Brie "Brianna" she gives her a hug "How are you. Not seen you in ages"
"Im good Caroline. Back in town for a while so thought I would reapply and come to school and spend time with you guys"
"You heard about Stefan huh?" Brie nods "Yeah well if anyone is gonna get his humanity on it will be you"
Tyler walks up to the girls and kisses Caroline. "Happy first day!"
Brie looks at his shirt and sees something red "Is that blood?"
"Oh my God!" Caroline grabs Tyler they go into the boys' restroom. Elena and Brie follow them in.
"What's going on?!"
"Vampire 101" Caroline pulls out some paper towels "don't wear your breakfast to school!" She says cleaning up his shirt.
Elena checks out the stalls to make sure no one is there "Chill out. It was just a blood bag" Tyler says pushing her away slightly.
