~Months Later~
Sherry was helping Belle out today, want to know why? Leon and Belle are FINALLY going out on a date. Ever since the US government took them in, they've been given them missions non-stop. The US government kept their promise to get Sherry safe, even Belle, prior to Leon's request.

"Here, Belle. Try this on." Sherry handed her a dress."

Belle tried it on. The dress was long and purple, and it was strapless.

"Sherry, it's just a casual date." She said.
"Well, you got dress up nice on a date. That's what Claire said." Sherry said.

"True, but I think this is a little too much, hehe." Belle said.
"Nah, it's prefect." Then there was a knock on the door.

"I'll go get it. You get dressed up." Sherry demanded.

"Hey, who's the boss around here?" Belle joked.
"You are. But as of tonight, I am." Sherry smirked.

Belle chuckled when Sherry left to get the door. She then looked at herself and took a deep breath.

Sherry opened the door, it appears to be Leon...in a suit.

"Hey there, Sherry."
"Hey Leon." She let him in and told to sit on the couch and wait.

"I see you have roses, Leon." She said.
"Oh...yeah. They're her favorite." Leon said.
Sherry giggles. "You know, red roses symbolizes love."

Leon blushed at that. "Really, huh?"

They heard footsteps, coming down the stairs. Belle was all dressed up and Leon was in awe. It was like seeing her for the first time at the police station, where they had met.

"Hi, Leon."
"Uh-hi."

"Too much?" Belle asked.
"O-oh, n-no. I-it's-you're beautiful." Leon stuttered.

"I think Leon is out of words, Belle." Sherry said.
"You can say that again." Belle said, chuckling. "So, shall we head out?"

"Before that, here." Leon gave her roses.
"My favorite. You remembered." Belle said as she smells them.

"Okay! Don't waste this moment. Get going." Sherry ushered them.

Leon and Belle looked at each other and chuckled. Sherry can sometimes act like an adult for a young age.

Leon and Belle were at restaurant and it's also a bar. It was quiet between them until Leon spoke.
"What a night, huh."

"Yeah. I guess."

Then Leon became more quiet.
"Leon, is something the matter?" She asked.
"Oh, um...it's nothing really."

Belle leaned forward and rested her arms on the table.

"Come on, don't hide things from me."
Leon looked into her eyes and couldn't uttered a word. Belle was too beautiful tonight.

Leon held her hands, gently and continued to look at her.

"I'm just lucky to met you and you even agreed to go on a date with me." He said.

Belle smiled. "Me too."

The waiter served them food and their mixed drinks as well. When Belle took a sip, she knew something was missing.

"This don't taste right." She said.
"Don't tell me they--"

"No, Leon. Not that. It needs lime." She squeezed some lime in her drink and took a sip once more.

"Mmm, that's more like it."
"Let me taste." Leon said, taking her cup and took a sip.

"Wow. That's even better."

Belle smiled and ate her food.
"You know, I think your parents were right."
"Right about what?" She asked.

"About being a bartender. Or a undercover cop."

Leon and Belle chuckled. "Maybe both."

Leon drove a motorcycle and Belle was behind him as she wraps her arms around his waist. Leon took her to a roof top, showing the beautiful view.

Seeing how beautiful the midnight sky is, everything was complete for Leon.

He stared at his beautiful date with a smile on his face. He came behind her and hugged her behind, feeling her slim waist.

"Belle, can I ask you something?" He asked.
Belle turned around, still in his arms. "What is it?"

Again, Leon was in awe. The midnight sky shined on them, making Belle's brown eyes sparkled.

"I...I think we should make it official. Us as a couple." He said.
Belle giggled. "Sure. I would love that."

Leon was relieved. "But we still need to go more dates." She said.

"Deal."
Leon slowly held her cheek on his right hand while his left hand was on her waist. He slowly leans in.

"I've been waiting for this..for a long time." He whispered.

"Then what are you waiting for...Mr. Kennedy." Belle said.

Leon smirks and kissed her on the lips under the midnight sky. The kiss was perfect. No interruptions. No zombies. No nothing. It was just the two of them.

The next day, Leon was summoned for another mission. This time is not with Belle. It's with Krauser.

"Belle gets to stay here. For her safety."

Leon nodded. "When will I leave?"
"Krauser will meet you here tomorrow morning. Be here on time, Leon."

That night, Leon went to see Belle at her apartment.

"Why you're so quiet, Leon?" She asked.
Leon sighed and turned to her.

"I'm going on a mission with Krauser tomorrow morning."

"And didn't let me know about this?" Belle asked.
"It's for your safety, Belle. It's not safe. Another umbrella operation is at South America." Leon replied.

Belle crossed her arms and Leon held onto her shoulders.

"Belle, if you go. I can't bare to lose you again." Leon said.

Belle took a deep breathe and wrapped her arms around his waist.

"Alright. Just come back safe."

"I will." Leon then kissed her passionately. (No sex scene yet lol)

The next morning, Leon was with Krauser on the roof top. Belle held Leon's hand once more, not letting it go.

"Time to go, Leon." Krauser said.

Leon nodded. He looked at Belle and he can tell she's worried.

"Be safe, Leon. Krauser can be rude sometimes, but he'll warm up to you eventually." She said.
"I heard that, young lady." Krauser said.

Leon chuckled. "I take your word for it."
Belle took out a charm bracelet with a locket. It has their picture in it.

"For good luck." She said.
"Thank you." Leon said.

Leon gave her a passionate kiss and Belle returned that kiss.

"Go get 'em, tiger." Leon smiled and hugged her once more and hopped on the chopper. He then waved at Belle as the chopper departed.

"You got one fine lady there, Kennedy. Don't screw it up." Krauser said.

Leon smirked. "I won't, Krauser."
