~3rd POV~
Naomi and Lin are doing their normal chores. Making sure baby birds don't fall out of the nest.
Naomi turned into a finch and flew up to the nest. She fixed the nest and flew back down.
"There ya go!" Lin shouted. Naomi turned back as she saw Jake approaching.
~Lin's POV~
"Hey Naomi!" Jake said. Why is it every time I want to spend time with her, he shows up? 'Wow... She looks amazing...' Jake thought. Of course she does!
I curse under my breath. "Come on, Naomi..." "Oh, ok!" I grabbed her hand and took her away from Jake.
~Jake POV~
'Lin's a little odd. Miss Peregrine said that he's always so kind, but he's been pretty rude to me... but Naomi... She's ever so kind, smart, and really beautiful... If only I could tell her that...'
I walked into the house, only, I was stopped by Lin. "Touch Naomi, and I'll feed you to a Hollow..." He spat.
"Lin! Come on, it's dinner time!" Naomi waved him over. 'He must've read my thoughts.' "Yeah, I did." He glared at me, then walked away and sat next to Naomi.
