CHAPTER ONE
Load Up On Guns

Lorelai was the only one in that trio to retrieve information. Diane and Michael just sat in the hotel room, talking amongst themselves. Lorelai slammed the hotel door, storming into the room, frustrated with the other two.

Diane looked her up and down, "you seem stressed."

Lorelai examined both Diane and Michael with an unreadable expression on her face. It made Diane and Michael squirm around. Lorelai looked at Diane's hands, which were strategically placed at the right pocket of her white trench coat. Both girls glanced at the window, which signaled a form of suspense.

Almost in sync, Lorelai and Diane both grabbed their guns. Michael grabbed his a second after. Both Diane and Michael aimed their guns at Lorelai. Diane stood in front of her, and Michael stood behind Lorelai. Lorelai sighed, holding the gun with one hand, a slightly reckless glint in her eye.

"Lorelai... drop the gun, and we'll figure everything out..." Diane ordered, not fully realising Lorelai creeping towards the window.

"And if I don't drop the gun?" She questioned.

The twisted smile fell from Diane's face, turning into a psychotic stare. "We'll bring you to Tyson, and he'll have your head cut from your body." Diane told her, to which Lorelai absentmindedly nodded. That sounded like fun, but Lorelai didn't feel like losing her head at that second.

Lorelai sprinted towards the window and shielded herself as she jumped out of it. A few small glass shards stuck into her skin, which wasn't the most comfortable feeling in the world, but it was better than being decapitated or shot to death. She landed on her feet-not so gracefully- and ran like hell. Lorelai silently thanked herself for hiding her duffel bag somewhere else.

She pushed past people, quietly apologising as she knocked people down by accident. Everything was a whirlwind at that moment. Lorelai climbed to the top of a random building, panting while she bent down to recover any feeling she could have left in her being. She looked behind her to see Diane chasing after her, letting out a groan.

Lorelai leaped from one building to another. Then she stopped, and because Diane wasn't looking at the distance between buildings, Diane landed in an alleyway. Lorelai took out her knife and held the locator piece to the handle for a second before running again. As she jumped, she threw the knife down at Diane, striking her in the shoulder. It wasn't enough damage to kill her, but it was enough to send a message, and to know where Tyson was.

She managed to escape from Diane, and she knew Michael was assisting Diane by getting her to the getaway car. Lorelai got to one of the telephone booths and made sure no one was around when she connected the EHQ chip to the phone.

It spoke in code at first, to which Lorelai responded immediately. "Agent Myers." She said almost immediately when transferred to Director Ranford.

"Lorelai, I assume this is to do with the mission—"

"Agent Carle and Agent Isak." Lorelai couldn't form the words.

"Dead?" Director Ranford guessed.

"Alive and moles. It's a partial mole hunt, isn't it?" Lorelai questioned.

"Lorelai... are you saying that Agent Carle and Agent Isak are assisting Tyson?"

"Yes, ma'am. I am."

"Very well. You know how to deal with this. Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to now kill Diane Carle and Michael Isak. Do you understand?"

"Loud and clear, Director."

Once the call was done, the automatic robot voice informed the same message: "this message will self-destruct in five seconds."

Lorelai checked once again, despite all of the other times checking, no one was there watching. She went to the old abandoned bunker that was close to the town and set up her laptop, then the locator chip signal.

Tyson looked up at both Diane and Michael. He rose a brow to question why there was a gash on Diane's right shoulder blade.

"Sir, Myers caught onto us... she threw this knife... it has a locator chip on the side here." It was to track them, but everyone knew they could reverse the code.

"We can reverse the code. We can track her to see where she is going, if she makes any alliances or what she is doing." Michael informed Tyson.

"Very well." Tyson responded, cracking his knuckles.

Little did they know that the trace would lead them right where the knife was, because the other end of the code was right inside the handle.
