Jandel's POV

I had just received an invite,
It was an invite to my good friends party,
Alberts party,
I had been pretty stressed lately.
After all, being a game developer isn't really that easy,
Haven't been able to get sleep or eat properly, it was pain.
I wanted to decline but Dani somehow managed to convince me to go even though I didn't want to.

<<< Earlier.

"Come on Jandeeel!! It"ll be fun I promise you!A day off of work, c'mon you can't pass on that"
Said the female.
"I already said No! Why can't you understand ?."
I said
I felt a light grip on shoulder
"Listen, It's best for you relax, perhaps you can catch up some bonding with them and enjoy your life for once instead to being locked in your room and only coming out to get coffee."
She said with a sign of concern.
I gave in, I decided to go.

She had left by now,
I sighed.
Was I really going to go to a party instead of doing my work so I could be honored and paid?

Yes I was.
I decided to wear a tux vest (?) to go to the party since Dani said it was a formal attire party,
I took a shower  then
I got my white button up and the vest with a yellowish orange bowtie,
I got ready and left to go to the party,
I thought,
"Am I really going to party? What if they stare at me? What if they judge me?"
I brushed of those thoughts , A couple of minutes passed,
"He really lives far away,," I thought
I then knocked the door of my good friend ,
I waited as I could hear the booming music through there, waited for a bit till I heard the door open,
"Holy shit! You did come! Welcome Janni come in come in!"  a taller man in red welcomed me in, It was Laugh,
He welcomed me in, He seemed glad that I had came to party since usually I'm just in my home working on games to get work done and so I won't get attacked for delayed updates.

He went to tell the others, I looked around and saw that there was a lot of stuff,
Like a chocolate fountain, A lot of food, candy, Juices , Alcoholic beverages aswell,
The thought was tempting.
I brushed it off yet again, i then grabbed a cup and poured myself in some fruit punch, I stood there drinking it till I saw Denis come up to me "Look who finally decided to show up!" He said,
Ouch , that kinda hurt but he wasn't really wrong and I knew he was joking but it still hurt,
"Yeah yeah, I came and so what?" I chuckled,
He smiled softly,
"So what brings you here? I thought you were busy with your game." He asked me
"Dani convinced me to come here, I don't know how but here I am," I responded
He chuckled , He stared at me for a bit then spoke.
"So you came here to rest a bit I suppose." He said cheerful but it was easily hinted that he had a slight note of concern in his voice,
"I guess you could say that" I said.
I really hadn't realized that my eyebags were somewhat noticeable, I guess that's why he said that.

"JANNIII!!!"
I heard a high pitch scream, I turn to see Albert.
"Oh hey Alber-"
He jumped onto me causing me to fall, despite wearing some boots with heels I was still shorter than them, so he full on just squished me,
"OW ALBERT WHAT WAS THAT FOR-" I yelped
"Sorry!" He giggled , He got up then proceeded to help me up,
I brushed off  my tux, then look up to face Albert, The taller man seemed happy to see me.
"Ok so so, We have lots of stuff here! Like juice, Snacks, food, candy, and even some alcoholic beverages!" He said,
The mention of alcoholic beverages yet became a tempting thought,
"I heard it helps with relaxation too!"
I heard another voice, I then screamed, they all laughed , I turn around to see who it was C, It was Laugh again, "Don't do that man!" "Sorry sorry" he apologized ,

Hours passed,
We were all on our own now, I thought
"Perhaps a little sip wont do much harm."
I went over to the plastic barrel and poured in some vampiro cocktail into a cup, I took a sip,
Then another till I finished it,
"Not so bad," I thought,
I remember the last time I drank I had a good tolerance for alcohol, So I figured I was going to be alright.
I took another cup, Drank it again, finished it.
Another,
Then another,
Then another again.
My vision was now feeling woozy, I felt like partying, I couldn't see too properly, By this time I assumed I had taken around 17 cups, I couldn't remember anymore,
My tolerance was low, I haven't eaten at all, I haven't eaten for a while in fact, I didn't care.
I took more, I got drunk.
I could barely focus my vision,
By this time , I didn't know what I was doing,
But I felt good, I felt happy , I felt relaxed,
I was glad to have this feeling after years, I was happy happy.
I drank a bit more, Then saw a few of my friend walking towards me getting me to sit down, I felt lightheaded.
All I did was nonsense.

Temprist POV

I was talking with one of my best friends, Laugh, We were talking about how Jandel had come to one of our parties after a long time,
"Im so glad he finally took a day off! That man looked burnt out in every group call we had, Heck! He even passed out in some remember?"
He said
"Oh yeah I remember!"
A while back we were in a call,
We were all talking till we heard a thud, We were playing  monopoly meanwhile Jandel worked on his game, And that thud scared us so damn bad , It was loud.
We tried waking him up but we didn't succeed sadly.
-Back to current time
We heard our friends come up to us, It was Albert, Denis, Jake and Dani.
We talked for a bit, I look over to try to get Jandel into the conversation, I saw Sketch and him,
Sketch seemed worried and Jandel seemed a bit too energetic, I look next to him and saw the Vampiro Barrel was half full, I turn around again "Uh guys, I think Jandel got drunk." I said
They looked at me , "What do you mean? He never gets drunk " Laugh, He then looked over , "Holy shit your not lying"

We both walk over to him, Sketch is just trying to stop him "Jandel I think that's enough" said the orange man, "Yeah I agree" said Laugh,
"What do you mean-? There's never enough!" He said giggling with his slurred words.
I stood there in shock, I whispered over to Laugh and Sketch "Im going to go talk with Jandel real quick privately alright?" .
They nodded and left,
"C' mom lets go."
I grabbed Jandels arm,
Im glad that he was relaxed but this concerned me.
We arrived to a quiet room.
"Jandel, Whats wrong? You usuall don't drink a lot" I asked him.
"Well— you see- I've been stressed lately so why not take a little si—ip?"
He slurred out,
"That was not a little sip at all " I thought,
"Is there something bothering you? You drank a little bit too much don't ya think?"
He stood there quiet,
"It's not that bad" he said
I got somewhat pissed
"What do you mean its not that bad?. You legit got yourself in danger! If it weren't for Sketch trying to help you who knows what would've happened!!."
I raised my voice a bit,
I don't know anything about him being drunk but I think he heard that as in a matter that I was mad.
He stood there in silent, just there in silent with his little smile.
He giggled
"Listen— Work has been a bit wayyy too stressful, so I took a drink—- and and"
His eyes became watery and then broke into small sobs
"Shit— Im sorry., I didnt mean to-"
He said ,
"No no Its Alright keep explaining" I tried reassuring him that it was okay
"Work is just so damn stressful— I can barely get any sleep or - or talk to y'all in general I'm just lost-" he sobbed out "I sometimes wish I could quit, But either way it doesn't matter, Not like y'all would care." He sobbed
I was in total shock.
I knew that he was stressed but this was worse than I thought he continued to rant,
It only got worse and worse.
I hugged him ,
He hugged back, He shaking so hard, He could barely make out his words,
He continued on for a couple of minutes,
He grabbed onto my shirt tightly.
It continued till I felt him stop shaking,
I got concerned for a bit again
But then his body slump onto mine,
turns out he had pass out,
It was for the good anyway, Imagine how many hours this man could've gone with crying?.
I took him into the spare room of the house we were supposed to live in all together.

I feel bad for him, I went back down stairs and told Laugh and Dani since they are the ones closest to him.
I hope he gets a good week of rest because I'm not letting him work this whole week or even month.
