The little boy ran through the village as fast as he could as arrows flew by his head. He didn't know what he did wrong, his mommy and daddy had been working in the field when the village priests came up with a lot of the villagers. He heard his mother's scream as she fell to the ground with an arrow through the heart. His daddy hit the priest and told him to run and he did. More arrows flew by him as he made it to the woods. He ran straight as fast as he could hearing the voices getting further and further away. By night time he was miles away from the village. He knew he was alone now and it scared him. He was scared, hungry and sleepy so he looked for a place to rest. He found a hollow tree that was sheltered from the elements and curled himself into a ball. He remembered what his parents always told him. Be brave and strong, and always be willing to help others, no matter what you do in life remember we love you. He went to sleep as he cried wanting his parents.
