Separating from the Group

Its been weeks since we saw Inuyasha and their group. From what I could figure out, we were hunting a big demon by the name of Naraku. I had never heard of this person but from the way Koga talked about him he must have done something very bad to him. Apparently we were closing in on him from what Gin Gin and Hak said. Every time we stopped Koga would be watching me for some reason, it made me nervous. We had stopped for the night and were preparing for bed when I saw Koga waving for me to come over. I got up and walked to where he was sitting and he spoke. "It's gonna be dangerous with us following Naraku kid. I need you to stay here while we hunt him down. We'll come back for you after we've taken care of that bastard." He's leaving me here! But he is right, I'm just a kid. Maybe this will be for the better, he can focus on Naraku. I nodded while trying to keep a confident face. "Thanks kid, we'll stay here tonight and leave out early. We'll leave some spare supplies behind for you to make it easier on you. Now get to sleep kid." I nodded as I headed to the tree I had chose to sleep in, I fell asleep nearly as soon as I layed down.

I woke in the morning to an empty camp.  Guess they left already. I thought as I grabbed my gear and my knife Gin Gin gave me and started to explore. Hopefully I could find a cave. It took a while but I eventually found a small hollow tree that would make a nice home. I also found a small stream so I could fish. I did a little tinkering with my home and made a little rock work as my door and with my bear furs I made a bed. I was just about to take a nape I heard someone yell for help. I grabbed my knife and ran to go help.
