Karter woke up happy. For once in his life he was happy once again. Sukuna hasn't said a word and hasn't been effecting him whatsoever it seemed as though he was lifted of the curse.
Karter still had somewhat some of his strength so he was glad he could still do school and not have to deal with Sukuna. He was walking to class and hugged Bakugo. "Morning Kacchan!" He yelled. Bakugo rolled his eyes and yelled back," Brat your gonna make me deaf!" Karter just smiled and hugged him. "Alright Kacchan see you at class," he quickly zipped away and greeted and said hello to his other classmates.
Deku smiled and said," Karter seems quite happy recently." Hatter was eating a sandwich and said with a full mouth," Oh yeah totally." He swallowed and put the other sandwich in his hat. Deku thought," I wonder what could he be thinking about." Hatter shrugged," Maybe he's just happy to have trained with Aizawa." Deku shrugged the thought off for now and left the boy to be happy.
Karter practically got all the answers right in class he was talking more with his friends and he seemed happier. Everyone was confused but was just happy to see him in a happy mood. "Will it always be like this?" Karter wondered. He would've kept thinking more but was interrupted by a hilarious Kirishima joke.
All Might started the class yelling," Today! We're gonna put you through a circuit that'll work on your teamwork and your defenses!"
Karter yelled with the others in agreement.
The first part was a race with obstacles and a huge gap at the end. Karter paired up with Bakugo and the race started.
First was a long run way with small soft balls being shot out turrets and high speeds.
Karter had to dodge and roll around with Bakugo trying to power through everything.
Second was a lot of moving poles you had to climb onto and get across. After a few failed attempts falling into the trampoline at the bottom. Him and bakugo got the hang of it finally getting over.
And lastly the giant gap. Bakugo was trying yo push Karter off yelling "Come on Danmit just jump like you used to!" "I can't Danmit I can't!" Yelled in desperation to make the blond stop. "WHY NOT?!" Yelled Bakugo asking. "I DONT KNOW ITS GONE OKAY!" Karter yelled back the answer.
There was a moment of silence.
"...DANMIT!" Bakugo yelled and grabbed Karter's arm and used his explosions in his other arm to spin him around rapidly and THROW Karter across the gap just in time.
They finished first. But at what cost. Now everyone knows he's quirkless.
