Welcome to ship-uary 2023!
This month there will be one shots for different anime ships leading up to Valentine's day. Please look forward to other one shots coming very soon!
Also this one shot is set to where they are pro heroes but not very high in ranking. Hope you enjoy!
The sun was rising over the horizon and a few street lamps turned off. Another day has started and night shift heroes were getting off work. Midoriya was apart of this group but couldn't seem to make it home. He changed clothes and wished his coworkers well as they walked in the opposite direction.
Making it to the train station before leaning against the wall outside the building. Just barley missing the train home, he had no choice but to wait for another one. That is until his legs gave in and he slid onto the ground. Earning a few concerned looks from the small number of people around him.
It was only for a moment but his body didn't move. "Shit why now..." he mutters and pulls out his phone, sending out a message full of typos before letting his arm fall to the ground.
Across town, Uraraka had too just got off work at another agency. Instead of taking the train back to her apartment, her company always had drivers take their heroes back home for their own safety. They were about half way there when she got a text. It was rare for anyone else to be up at this time. Her heart sank when she read the message.
"Uh actually could you turn here and go to the train station?" She asks the driver, "it's really important, please?"
"Sorry but my job is to take you back to your apartment, no stops." The driver replied, feeling bad about it but didn't have any choice.
"It'll just be a detour, another hero is in danger please I'll explain everything to your boss tomorrow." She begs, "we're still going to my apartment and no where else. Just taking the scenic route."
Seeing her face in the car mirror, the driver nods and gets into the turn lain without saying a word. She exhales and inhales quickly and types a message back. Asking if he's okay, what happened, is he even there. The fear in her eyes increased with every passing minute, the driver picks up speed. Hoping to still have a job by the end of this shift.
When they made it to the train station; Midoriya looked up to see the car park and Uraraka rush out. She tries to talk to him, asking if he's injured somewhere. He shakes his head, "just can't seem to move my body. Sending that text was difficult and my arm gave out as soon as it was sent."
"So it's okay if I pick you up then right?" She asks, taking his arm and pulling him up.
"Yeah I'm not hurt anywhere. I think." He replies and she scoops him into her arms.
"Jeez you've gotten heavy since high school." She huffs, trying to lighten the mood and slowly makes her way back to the car.
"It's all muscle I swear." He smiles and holds onto her. The driver opens the door for them and within the next minute they had left the area.
Midoriya had passed out during the car ride to Uraraka's apartment and she carried him up the stairs. Almost dropping him as she looked for her keys. At least, he was laid down onto the couch and she let out a sigh of relief. He was safe now. Checking the time, she decided to make them both something to eat. He had a lot of explaining to do whenever he woke up.
She turned on the news to see what new villain had chosen to attack the city last night. The breaking news story was about Deku taking on a villain by himself. A clip they had shown multiple times was him using his quirk in both his arms and legs to keep the villain on the ground.
