A few weeks have passed by, and it's finally fall. Me and Cole have started dating for about 3 weeks now, and he is the sweetest boyfriend ever. He takes me out on little dates after school, and on the weekends he treats me to a day out, with a walk in the park, or a boba date in the mall. He spoils me rotten, and I keep telling him not to, but he doesn't ever listen to me, the stubborn man he is. Lena has been able to keep our relationship a secret from her other friends, as they swoon over Cole like he's the last man on earth. Me and Cole have also been able to keep it a secret, as we barely have any classes together. The only classes we have together are Art and a free period together. He also has lunch with me, but even then we can't talk because so many girls surround him.

I don't ever get jealous when a girl is swooning over Cole, I'm kinda used to it at this point, but today I lost my cool, and I got myself into a hell of a lot of trouble. I was walking with Cole to my first class, and this girl who, Cole knew, but I didn't, was following me and Cole to my class. "Alright, you know what I want before you go into class" Cole joked as he leaned his cheek down to me. I didn't kiss him on the cheek like I usually do, and he noticed I was acting off. "Darlin'? What's wrong?" he asked. I pointed secretly behind me to the girl that was following us, and he turned around, and then a low, deep growl escaped his chest. "Go away Ashe, stop followin' us." Cole demanded. The girl, who I'm assuming is Ashe, folded her arms and gave me a nasty glare. "Why the hell are you with this itty titty bitch? You're MY boyfriend, not hers!"

Rage ensued through my veins as I heard her say those words. She must've known me and Cole were dating, and was trying to get me to leave him by making me think he's a player, but for her, I'm smarter than I look. I rolled my sleeves up and I could feel my eyes change from the soft Hazel to a fire red. "Darlin' take a deep breath, she's just jokin' around. No need fer violence." Cole tried to reassure me, but I was having none of it. I walked up to Ashe, and I saw red. "What are you gonna do?" she threatened. "I'll show you what I'm going to fucking do!" I snarled, and with that, I swung at Ashe, hitting her in the face really hard, and knocking her back onto her ass.

Ashe had let out a loud scream when she fell back, and her nose started bleeding from how hard I hit her. I felt my lips twitch up into a crazed smile as I watched the blood drip down her lips and the fear in her eyes as she looked up at me. A hand came down onto my shoulder, and I looked to see Cole, with a blank expression on his face. "Let's go, now." he demanded. I nodded as my eyes turned back to their normal Hazel color, and I followed Cole to an empty hallway. When we entered the hallway, Cole dropped my backpack, and looked at me. "Where the hell did that come from?" he asked me. I felt like he was angry at me when he asked me that question so my first instinct was to look down. "Hey, no look at me hun, I ain't mad at ya, I just want to know what triggered such a response from you." he said, in a calm tone to let me know he wasn't actually angry with me.

"When...she said that she was "your girlfriend" and I wasn't. I don't know why I got so angry...I'm usually not angry when it comes to a girl flirting with you, but I guess since you knew her personally, it made it worse, and...I just lost it." Cole didn't reply to me, and he pulled me close into his chest, and held me close to him. "Darlin', you had every right to be upset, and I understand how you felt, I feel the same way whenever you and Junkie flirt." I could feel my heart sink to my stomach as Cole said that. "I...I didn't know I made you jealous when I flirted with Junkie...I'm sorry." I apologized. Cole didn't say anything, he just kept holding me close to his chest. "I ain't mad. I know y'all do it for fun" he finally said.

After school ended, I was in the principal's office with Cole, and Ashe. I was sure I was going to get suspended for punching Ashe in the face, since she snitched on me in the first place. Mr. Wilhelm walked back into his office, where me, Cole, and Ashe were sitting. "Alright. Ashe I understand that you had came up to Skylar and all of a sudden she punches you in the face? Is this correct?" Mr. Wilhelm asked. Ashe nodded as she put on her best "I'm the victim" act. Mr Wilhelm looked at me and his expression looked like he wasn't believing it. "Skylar, care to tell me what actually happened?" he asked. Ashe gasped in utter disbelief that he wasn't believing her.

"Me and Cole have been trying to keep our relationship a secret for some time now, because every girl in this god forsaken school is swooning over Cole, and if they were to find out I was the lucky girl of his choosing they would come after me. Now, today me and Cole were trying to walk to class, because Cole drops me off at my class before he goes to his which is right down the hall, and I notice Ashe is behind me and Cole, following us. Now I let go of Cole's hand because I didn't know Ashe so I thought she was just some random girl following us. As soon as we get to my class, Cole tries to get a kiss from me, when I push him away and point to Ashe. He told me he knew Ashe, and she tried to claim Cole as hers. I was filled with rage, and I couldn't stop myself, so I just punched her. And for that I deeply apologize it was inappropriate of me."

Mr. Wilhelm nodded and turned to Cole, "Is this true Cole?" he asked. "Yes sir, I watched it all go down." Cole replied. He nodded once again and turned back to Ashe, who looked like she was about to get up and beat me to a pulp. "Ashe, is what she said true?" he asked her, and this is when she lost it. "No it's not fucking true! She's just trying to get to your head! She's trying to play the victim! SHE PUNCHED ME IN THE FUCKING FACE!" Ashe yelled in response. Mr. Wilhelm stood up and set his papers and glasses onto his desk. He turned to me and Cole. "I apologize for taking up your time. You two are free to go home, and Skylar there will be no punishment for what you did, but if it happens again I will write you up" he said, I nodded in response, as me and Cole left for Cole's house.

On our walk home, Cole and I finally got to be ourselves, and I got to hold his hand again without having to worry about a stupid girl walking up to us. "This is nice, y'know?" Cole asked. I turned to him, confused, but I saw a slight smile on his lips. "What are you talking about?" I asked, in utter confusion. "How I managed to nab the cutest girl in the school, who's also a badass down deep inside. I didn't think you'd have the guts to punch her in the face. But you stood me corrected." I could feel the heat rising to my cheeks. Cole chuckled, noticing my obvious blush. I punched him in the arm for laughing at me.

Once we got to Cole's house, we walked in, and I smelt Mr.Reyes' cooking. "Smells good in here pop, what ya making?" Cole asked as we walked into the kitchen, where Mr. Reyes stood. "Pork chops, mac n' cheese, and sweet corn. Just how Sky likes it." he replied. I smiled shyly at the thoughtfulness Mr. Reyes put into this dinner. "Thank you Mr.Reyes, this was very thoughtful of you to do." I thanked, and he smiled sweetly at me. "Please honey, call me Gabe, "Mr" makes me sound older than I am." he joked, which I'll admit, made me giggle. Once dinner was done, the three of us sat down and ate, and joked around together. After we finished eating, I helped Mr.Reyes, oh I mean, Gabe with the dishes, and then I went upstairs to Cole's room, to see he wasn't there.
