Yeji's POV

"YOU GUYS ARE WHAT?!" Chaeryeong said so loud that we got eyes looking at our direction. I told her to calm down.

"You heard me,"

I told her about me and Ryujin dating. She's my best friend, of course she's the 1st person to know.

"UHH HOW?!"

"Will you please calm down?" i said shaking my head.

"I'm just surprised- she's as cold as ice whenever she's with us, and I noticed before that she hates your presence..."

I giggled.

"It's a long story, and believe it or not, we've already met 4 years ago. We shared the night--I MEAN not that kind of sharing," i explained to her. "And I really love her,"

She just nodded and then warmly smiled at me before pulling me for a hug. She then gave me a look as if she still had a question in mind.

"I'm just worried,"

"Hmm why?" i asked her.

"Yeonjun is back from Japan, and you told me what he said the last time you two met right?"

"Hey," i ran towards Ryujin who's carrying a box full of papers. Must be work from the publication.

"Hey," she greeted me back.

"Hi!" Chaeryeong greeted her with a huge grin. I'm afraid Ryujin would be confused by how my friend is acting.

"Hi." she awkwardly responded.

"You better take care of this unnie!" she pointed at me. "Or else I'll headlock you-"

"Ryeongchae!"

But Ryujin just laughed which kinda surprised me. It's the first time she met our friends again from the beach.

Ryujin reassured Chaeryeong and I can't help but to blush hearing her words. I'm so blessed to have Ryeongchae as my best friend and Ryujin as my girlfriend.

"I'll see you later at the program," Ryujin told me. I noticed the change in her mood so i held her arm.

"Everything okay?"

She plainly nodded.

"I need to bring this to the office, see you later Yeddeong~"

I gave her a "what was that?" look but she just chuckled.

"Bye bye Ryujinnie~" Chaeryeong waved at her as we watched her go.

Yeddeong?

"Let's all welcome back, our very own basketball team. They made us proud by bringing home the Champion trophy!"

Everyone applauded as the team all went up the stage. There was Yeonjun with a wide smile on his face. His eyes roamed around to land at me.

Our school director congratulated them with a short speech and now it's the Captain's turn.

He thanked everyone especially his own team and head coach. He then paused, silencing the hall.
