I woke up thanks to the sun shining through the windows. I want to turn away from the window so I can sleep a bit more but soon I realise something is holding me around my waist. I open my eyes to see that during the night I somehow managed to get so close to Billie so right now her hand is wrapped around my waist holding me like a little spoon. My whole face turned red. How am I supposed to get out without waking her. I still hated the fact that the sun was shining right at me so I gently raised her hand so I could turn to face her. I smiled a little, she looked so peaceful. I mean if I'm in this situation why not to make the most of it. I closed my eyes and snuggle just a tiny bit closer.

I could hear the door opening so I once again opened my eyes. This time I was alone in bed. The spot was still warm so it couldn't be long since she left. I sighed as I got out of the bed and went downstairs to the kitchen. Billie and Kacey were already there. Kacey was already dressed up but me and Billie were still in our pyjamas. "Good morning guys." I said as I yawned and walked to them. "Hey Artemis, had a good sleep?" Kacey asked me as she passed me a plate with breakfast. "Yeah it was fine..." I shrugged. "Tho I woke up and felt quite cold, guess I'll have to buy some warmer pyjamas." I could see from the corner of my eye that Billie looked at me but I didn't pay her much attention and just looked at Kacey. "Do you want to go shopping today?" Billie asked me and I looked at her with a smile. "Yeah, better do it now than freeze another night." I say giggling as I finished my breakfast. "I'll come with you then, we can bond thanks to that." She said as she finished her tea and winked at me. I blushed. "Yeah, sure we can do that."

After I finished dressing up. I ran downstairs. I was wearing a cute baby blue sundress that was long enough to reach my knees. "I'm ready!" I yelled as I was putting on my shoes. "Coming right after you." Billie said as she came to put on her shoes too. She was wearing a white blouse with black trousers. I started for maybe a bit too long but soon I hear Billie say "Like what you see?" She said smirking. I giggled trying to hide my nervousness. "I liked what I saw this morning." I answered smirking. I noticed a slight red appearing on her cheeks. She was stunned "What did you saw?" She asked confused "Do you know that you look really peacefully when you're sleeping? It was cute honestly." She turned even bit more red as she came to me with key cars. "Let's go hm?" She said trying to act like she just didn't got butterflies in her stomach. I giggled as I went after her.

The drive was quiet, but luckily it was the enjoyable silence and not the awkward one. When we got to the mall we walked around for a little while. It all looked quite expensive. "Billie where did you take me? I'm afraid that I won't be able to afford much from these shops." I said looking down at my feed. "Oh don't worry darling, it's my treat." I looked at her with wide eyes. "No! Come on you've already done a lot for me, I can't accept that." I shook my head. "Let me spoil you darling, I'm sure we find something you like." I looked at her and blushed slightly. "Fine..." I said quietly I saw her smile as she grabbed my hand and dragged me to one of the shops.

During the shopping we really bonded. We laughed, we talked and just enjoyed the company of each other. When we finished all the shopping it was almost noon. "I've never spent so much time and money just shopping." I say giggling as I was holding onto my bags. " let's put it in the car." Billie said as we went out to put everything inside the car. "Are you hungry? Maybe we could go to some restaurant." Billie asked. "And spend your money again? No way this was already too much." I said smiling as I watched Billie come to me. "Artemis, you and Kacey are the closest thing I have to family, I don't mind spoil you." She said as she put her hands on my shoulders. I looked at her concerned but I sighed. "Okay." I said as she smiled. "Any restaurant you prefer?" She asked me as she sat down in the driver seat. "Do you know any Greek one?" "Sure do, darling."

The food was amazing, pricey but amazing. After we finished eating we went home where we stared working on finding out where another relic is hidden. Nate, guy that was helping Kacey and Billie, managed to open the relics that revealed a map. "White Woman Mountains.." Billie said as he looked at the map. "So that's where the last relic is?" I asked as me and Kacey looked at each other. "Well, we don't know until we get there." Billie answered looking at us.

We flew there same day. "The Daughters of the Plumed Serpent must have been here." Billie said amazed as she looked around the cave. "I'll get the drone." Nate said. Me and Kacey were walking behind Billie looking around not really understanding anything that was carved in the walls. The drone was flying before us looking for something more interesting. Nate went forward with it while we stopped in one room. Billies amazed face soon turned into more of serious one. In that time Nate's drone crashed. "I'll go get it." He said and went further. "Nate hang on a moment." Billie said as I looked at her confused. "It's okay. I can see the drone. It's right up there-" but soon his word's turned into scream. "Nate!" The three of us yelled almost at the same time as we ran to where he went. I saw Kacey wanting to go further so I quickly hugged her and try to bring her away from the pit. "No! Let me go! He could be still alive!" "Listen to me! We need to get out, now!" Billie screamed at us as she quickly turned around and ran outside. I took Kacey by the hand. "Come on let's go!" I said as I dragged her out.

The flight home was quiet. We sat at a table with whiskey in our glasses. Even tho I didn't knew him, I could see how losing him hurt Billie and Kacey. Kacey considered the fact that maybe that there's no treasure but as soon as Billie said her inspirational word with Mandela her phone lid up and she played a recording of ... Elvis. But it wasn't just song it was a clue.

That night I laid in Billies bed again. Not because I had a nightmare but because she wouldn't sleep as guilt would consume her. She was laying on my chest her tears wetting my t-shirt I slept in. "It was my fault wasn't it?" She whispered her voice quivering. "No of course not, you warned him, you shouldn't feel guilty for this." I said slowly stroking her back. "Get some sleep Billie, you need it." I said as she closed her eyes. "Thank you Artemis." She said and soon she fallen asleep. I stayed awake 'till I could feel and hear her breath even so I knew she was sleeping. I wanted to go to sleep too but then I heard a knock on the door. When the door opened I saw Kacey's tired face. "Sorry, I thought Billie would be still awake, I just wanted to talk." She said as she wanted to close the door again. "Hey, I have still one side free if you want to.." I said as I stretched my free arm. She smiled as she came in and laid on my chest just opposite of Billie. "Thanks." She said quietly. "No need to thank me. I would do anything for you two." I said. I could feel her smile but soon her breathing evens as she falls asleep. I smiled and soon fell asleep too.
