"Shay did you print of my reports?" Ayleo chimes through the inercom.
I roll my eyes and press the button.
"Did you look at that folder placed on your desk?" I asked nicely.
A few moments go by so I let the button go and continue to type of my history essay. It was the later half of the shift where we were prepping for tomorrow and of course Ayleo wanted to act slow.
"Yeah it's right here but I dont see the report." He responds and I sigh.
"Not today bruh."
I pull the files up and send the report to his printer then switch back to my essay. I havent really been out my office since the trip and honestly it wasnt even because of Ayleo.
I was just going through a lot at home since i broke the news to my mom. She been spiraling finding out my dad had yet another baby and of course she tried to call but he didnt answer.
April still doesnt know the news my mom begged me not to tell her because she was a Daddys girl.
Even though she knows he not shit my mom made me promise not to ruin his image for her. Which i can honestly say is pretty selfish.
I hear a knock on the door and I let out a frustrated groan.
"Come in!"
In walks Ayleo and Mateo arguing as usual. I give them both a tired look and sigh.
"What could you two idiots be arguing about now." I spat.
"Woahhh who pissed in your cereal." Mateo says before sitting on the corner of my desk.
"Nothing and get your ass off my shit." I say using my pen to poke his butt.
He moves and sits in one of the chairs and pulls it next to the desk beside me.
"You on your period?" He asks and I give him a death glare before flicking his forehead.
"No I'm just not in the mood." I mumble before going back to my essay.
"Well we were coming in here to ask if you wanted to grab some food with us tonight and chill but you seem irritated so never mind." He says playfully and I roll my eyes.
"No thanks I have homework." I reply reading over the paragraph I just typed up fixing any mistakes I made so far.
"See Leloo she don't want to see your crusty ass off the clock." Mateo says to his brother.
Ayleo face turns up and I could tell he was irritated.
"She said she had home work not that she didn't want too." He mumbled before walking out. I frowned and looked at Mateo.
"What was that about?"
He shrugs. "He wanted to take you on a date but he didn't want to be weird about it so he was going to try to make it seem like a group thing so you wouldnt be uncomfortable."
My face reddens.
"He wanted to do what?!" I ask in shock and Teo starts laughing.
"I'm joking now you know damn well he wont say no shit like that." He cackles and my face gets hotter.
I havent told anybody about what we have going on behind the scenes because Ayleo said not too.
So every time Mateo says certain things I cant tell if he knows or if he just bluffing.
"You need to stop playing so much." I say mushing him while he laugh's harder.
"I just find it gross that you have a crush on my big brother." He says and I bit my inner cheek.
"I dont."
"Then why your face redder then a baboon's ass?" He says and I cover my face and groan as loud as humanly possible.
"I could say the same about you your fucking my cousin." I say back and the grin that comes across his face is priceless.
"Man she is just whew." He smiles.
"Ewwww yall love bird asses." I tease.
"Nah but for real for real he wanted you to pull some extra hours tonight but said you been in a pretty bad mood these past couple days so he trying to make me stay over." He explains and I nod before getting up.
"If it was about me making money somebody shouldve said that sooner." I say as I walk out my office I use my badge to open Ayleo office door to see him at his desk with his head in his hands.
I clear my throat so he would know I entered the room and shut the door behind me. I lock the door to make sure nobody disturbs us.
He looks up as I make my way over shutting the blinds behind him.
When I was finished he was sitting up fully looking surprised.
"What can I do for you Miss Shaay?" He ask and I smile a tad bit.
"Oh I'm miss now, what happened to kitten?" I tease and a loom of relief washes over his face.
"I thought you been mad at me."
I shake my head no and crawl on his lap.
"No I told you I'm going through stuff."
His hands find my waist and he pulls me closer. I take the opportunity to kiss him and he does it back gripping me tight.
I moan softly in his mouth before pulling away.
"You don't understand how bad I missed those lips." He mumbles before gently rubbing my cheek.
I smile and lean into his touch.
"I missed you too I'm sorry, but its kinda lame that you want me to work extra hours just so you can be under my ass." I say while smirking and a look of embarrassment washes over his face.
"I'm going to kill my brother." He groans pinching the bridge of his nose and I giggle.
"I would he said you were trying to take me on a date over here messing with me." I say softly and he gives me an odd look.
I raise an eyebrow.
"Whats that face for?"
"Uh.... I kinda did say something along those lines but I told him I just meant you work a little longer and l I'll bring you some dinner." He says and for once I think my boss was acting shy.
My face starts burning again.
"I mean uh... I can work the hours tonight but I do have home work."
He nods.
"I never got to properly ask you because of egghead, but I'm not trying to make you uncomfortable if you want to go home on time tonight you can." He says rubbing the back of his neck.
I pack his lips and smile.
"I think I'll stay here with you tonight."
We both smile and my heart starts fluttering as I stare into those big brown eyes.
"Well I'll grab us a little something then do you of later okay." He says and i nod happily.
