The middle of the night passed by and morning came. Glynne didn't really do anything aside from tinkering with his guns and chatting up with Arona. He should borrow some books to read from the school library later.
He looked at the clock and realized he still has a lot of time before class would start. Shrugging, he asked Arona what he should do.
'Why not take a morning jog? It should be a good way to pass the time.'
And with that, he decided to go out for a quick jog.

Despite the sun not rising yet, the campus is already bustling with activities. With many students outside of their rooms to train.
[The Protagonist] jogged his way along the lakeside as he felt the cold breeze brush against his skin. He was one among the many who jogged at this place, if only to enjoy the view. He jogged and worked up a sweat until he then decided to take a break, and jogged towards a vending machine.
He dispensed a coin and ordered a simple drink, which he then opened after sitting down a nearby bench. As he enjoyed the flavour of his drink while staring at the view, another jogger approached him.
"Excuse me, is this seat taken?" the jogger asked, a female voice. Glynne turned his head to stare at her. She had bluish-grey hair in a low ponytail, and blue eyes which were behind a pair of glasses. If he had to describe her body, it was lithe, thin, slender, or any synonymous word. Just, he had the feeling he shouldn't call her flat even if it wasn't rude to do so.
"No, feel free to sit down beside me. He said as he scooted over to give her a place to sit on. She gave her thanks before setting down beside her fellow jogger.
"By the way, are you perhaps a new student here?" the bluish-gray-haired girl asked, perhaps wanting to have a little chat to pass the time. "I feel like I haven't seen you before."
"Yes, in fact I just arrived here just yesterday." The black-haired boy replied as he finished his drink, tempted to get another. "Today will be my first day of class."
"Is that so?" she smiled while tucking her hair behind her ear. She did so to avoid her hair from sticking to her face, but the act was quite charming, especially when combined with her beauty. Even Glynne was enchanted a bit.
"Cute..." he quietly muttered. But apparently it was still loud enough for the girl to hear as she became a bit flustered and a small blush appeared on her cheeks.
"A-ahem, it's already remarkable enough to see you train your body early in the morning. But to do so a day after arriving? I wish the others would follow your example." She said after quickly recomposing herself.
"I-it's nothing like that." Glynne quickly followed suit as to not make the atmosphere awkward after what he did. "I just have nothing to do and wanted to pass the time. Plus, I just feel itchy after not moving much for a while."
"Heh..." the girl seemed to have gained some interest as her eyes observed him.
It was hard to tell at first because of his loose t-shirt but upon closer inspection, his body was developed quite well. It was not something that one could get so easily, it requires constant training every day.
"A-ahem" he faked a cough, which made her snap out of her musings. She looked at his face to see he was looking away appearing quite uncomfortable. It only dawned on the girl that she had been staring uncomfortably at him for longer than necessary.
"My apologies." She quickly apologized, a bit too quickly actually.
"N-no need to." He replied back.
The atmosphere became a bit awkward before she talked.
