This is based off of an rp I've done with a friend, just a few things to note.
1. It won't be an exact copy of the text and actions, I'm not using the server as reference for most of this.
2. I don't know how often this'll be updated, depends how popular it gets.
3. This doesn't start at the beginning of the roleplay, things are hinted and revealed within.

[KEVINS POV]
It'd been about a week since Streber had passed. I still hadn't wrapped my head around it, after all he's been through and he's just.. gone.
I layed on the sofa, completely unaware of what the time was. I didn't really care anymore to be honest. The last time I cared about what time it was, was that day.
[FLASHBACK]
I woke up.. it was decently early. I know streber would be waiting for me, sitting in his bed smiling. He was getting better, thats for sure.
Although he barely ever seemed sick, apart from the times he'd be violently coughing for 30 seconds straight, he obviously seemed better. His eyes sparkled again, like they used to. The thought made me smile, boosting me to get ready quicker.
I grabbed my keys, unlocked and walked out the door. It was around 9am, I think. I spun my keys with my finger, pretty excited to see him again.
It was normally him who was the excited one. The hospital was about a 10 minute walk from our house, so I didn't take too long because I was practically jogging. The nurses said he could be out in a few days time, a couple more tests to make sure his immune systems working again, his organs are functioning and so on. I didn't really worry about that much, because he seemed perfectly fine the last few times id seen him.
It was quite graphic the day I'd taken him there, he'd just thrown up at the time and I was quite worried. First few nights alone were quite scary too.. I had no way to tell of he was safe until the next morning.
I was waiting to see his big goofy smile. His stupid jokes and the seemingly endless conversations. It was great to see him healthy again.
I approached the hospital doors, just barely smiling. I approached the desk to a lady sorting files.
She greeted me with a hello and whatever.
"I'm here to see Streber [LAST NAME]"
She scanned through her files and looked up at me.
My heart sank.
"I'm sorry.." she said under her breath.
"What?" I spat, incredibly concerned.
"He.. he passed in the middle of the night. I'm sorry," her apologies were like more knifes digging into my chest.
But.. he was getting better? He was fine yesterday.. not fine, he was great. He was doing better then he was before. He was doing so much better...
Any other words wouldn't process. I felt my eyes watering as I backed out of the building.
I dont understand what happened. Why it happened. None of it was making sense. He was.. completely fine...
[END OF FLASHBACK]
I hated reminding myself of it. Yet I couldn't move on.
Suddenly I heard a noise from the kitchen. I didn't suspect much, the house was old and things fall and break often.. id fix it later.
But then I heard it again.. and what followed it was a wince of surprise that was not my own. Eerie muttering echoed from the kitchen.. what the hell?
I urged myself to stop being a pussy and go see what it was. I shuffled off of the sofa and slowly into the front room. I was standing in the doorway of the kitchen.
Around the corner I could just about see a figure.. had someone broken in? No.. no.. it wasn't someone. Or at least it didn't look like it. They were pacing.. a trail following behind them. I stepped closer into the kitchen and.. they saw me.
They stared right at me with a terrified face, unblinking eyes with no pupils. They tried to cover their face with a hand but.. wait.
One hand, scruffy hair and a cloak?
Was it..? No, it couldn't be i-
"Kevin?" The figure muttered in a voice i could just about remember.
They edged closer towards me as the face clicked instantly into recognisation.
"Streber..?" The words barely escaped my lips - I was in complete shock.
