Meanwhile, Dan was doing his own poking around. He was also walking along the mall to the Joke Shop when he was abruptly stopped by Amy.

"What're you doing here?" Amy asked.

"What're you doing here?" Dan retaliated.

"Just off to buy some ice-cream," Amy replied calmly, pointing to a shop behind her and Dan noticed an ice-cream cone in her hand.

     "Oh, Okay," Dan said.

"Come on. Found any toy you wanna buy?" Amy asked

"No." And Dan was steered by Amy back to the toy shop. Dan glanced back longingly at the Prank Shop board but he knew he couldn't sneak out right in front of Amy. Later, he told himself. Amy's loud voice broke him out of his reverie.

"DAN! Pick something. We have to go!" Amy snapped.

Dan walked up the aisle and picked out an enormous water gun. It looked like it could carry 100 litres of water!

"Whatever you're gonna do with that gun when we get home, it better not involve me," Amy said firmly.

"Of course not! How could I ever think to harm you!" Dan replied faking a look of innocence.

"Yeah, right. . . Wait, is that Jonah?" Amy asked Dan pointing to a man wearing a suit and a hat and sunglasses. But when you've seen your cousin about a hundred times, it's possible to spot him even in something that let alone wear, he won't even touch.

"Yeah . . . Yeah, I think it is," Dan replied and he made towards the suspected Jonah. Amy followed. Dan tapped on his shoulder. "That you, Jonah?"

"Yo, shhhh! Don't say my name! It was so hard to get away!" Jonah snapped looking panicky.

"I knew it was you! What the heck are you wearing?" Amy asked amused.

"That mob wasn't letting me slide easily. So I went in a shop selling — suits. I knew they weren't gonna recognise me in this, yo!" Jonah said enthusiastically.

"Yeah, sooo I need to a call. So just go on to the movie theater floor and I'll meet you there," Amy said when everyone else had come together after buying what they needed.

"Who're you calling?" Dan asked promptly.

"None of your business. Now go! Everyone!" Dan and the others went towards the elevator while Amy phoned the prank shop. "Yeah, hello? . . . yeah, he's coming down . . . everything ready? . . . great, bye." And Amy trotted off after the others. She got in just in time as the elevator doors were closing.

"Made your call, Amy?" Natalie asked.

"Yeah," Amy replied shortly. No one said anything until they reached the floor.

"Woah!" Ned exclaimed. 'Woah!' just about summed up the theater. The ticket counter was a waiting room with fluffy and spongy sofas. The whole waiting section was made of marble. They were so shiny that Amy honestly thought they glittered. The posters of the movies playing were shown on a huge tv screen. There was Fast and Furious 7, Cinderella and some others that Amy didn't recognise at all. Where are they?

"So we're watching Fast and Furious 7, right?" Dan asked. But Amy wasn't listening; she was scoping the place for the prank shop manager.

"Yeah, sure," Amy said impatiently waving her hands. Finally she saw him and with a great jolt of relief, he had set up the stall with which Dan was about to be pranked. "Hey, first, let's check that stall out. Maybe it's something interesting." And without even waiting for a reply, she pushed the others to it. The manager was speaking.
