Myles pov:

"Hey! Come on, you're okay!" They attempted to insert the iv into his arm, as he began thrashing violently. As I tried to calm him down, gently running my fingers through his hair, as I did. His body stopped thrashing as much - yet he was tense.

"Just look at me." I ordered softly. He looked at me with his crystal blue eyes, his chest continued to rise and fall. Before he glanced over at the IV disobeying all my orders.
Before his body went limp as he fell completely unconscious.

"Ah shit." I mumbled, as they quickly did the IV, before tending to his care.

They took him into the hospital as I stood back, helping them fill out the paperwork, before they went to talk to him.
Deciding to wait around for a little.

"Alright, he's in critical conditions were gonna plan on keeping him overnight, possibly two - he had a lot of blood damage...he doesn't have anyone that he can contact. He has an aunt thats all the way in London, thats it..." she mumbled softly.

"Am I able to talk to him?"

"Yeah if you'd like, theres about..." she glanced at her watch. "An hour left of visiting hours." She smiled before making her way down the hall.

Making my way back into the room, he was awake staring into space.
"Fuck you." He spit. Not glancing towards me.

"Disrespecting a cop...you know thats a crime..." smirking softly.

"No you didn't have to take me here! Why didn't you just take me fucking prison!" He shouted with anger.

"Calm down kid..."

"I-I can't afford this right now..." he whispered burying his head in his hands.

"We can get you a payment plan...and get it sorted...you need to be treated and get better...you don't have anyone to call to help with it, parents, legal guardian?"

"I was in foster care - I was released...I never knew them, expect for my aunt who's thousands of miles away..." he mumbled with frustration.
I glanced at my watch - I was almost off the clock. I already filled out the paperwork I needed too.

Shaking my head as I left the room without saying anything.

I quickly called Oliver.

'Hey sexy'

'Hey...so remember that stripper...that kid...'

'Of course I do.'

"I'm at the hospital with him right now - he's pretty stressed out I'm gonna stay, try and calm him down.
He doesn't have anyone else."

"Oh uh - okay...do you want me to come down? I made dinner. I can bring you some..." he mumbled into the phone clearly already packing it up.

"Liv...I don't know he's pretty stressed out...he's uh pissed I brought him." Stopping him from packing up, I fear it would only stress Arlo out more.

"Oh...alright...don't be too late, I'll be waiting." He whispered softly, before the line went silent.

Making my way back over to Arlo.
"So you're afraid of needles? Is that the real reason you didn't wanna go." I said softly, with a small smile.

"You think I can pay for this?" He grumbled, ignoring the needle part. "I'm in school! I barely make enough to pay rent, a-and Mack! He needs food! Who's gonna feed him!"

"Is Mack a pet?" I asked slowly.

"He's my cat! He's all I have left!" He said firmly.

"Would you like me to feed him?" I asked slowly.

"I-I guess..." he mumbled. He gave me his apartment address, along with where an extra key was.

"I'll go handle Mack, behave for the staff please..." I whispered as I knelt next to his hospital bed. Taking his cold hand in mine. I brushed my thumb over his knuckles.
He glanced away from me.

"Look at me." I whispered.
He shyly locked eyes with me, before taking his bottom lip between his teeth.

"Behave...I'm gonna put my contact down, and if you cause trouble they'll call me. I'll come check on you tomorrow."

"I-I'm gonna be alone all night?" He whispered. "N-normally I have Mack..." he followed orders his blue eyes not leaving mine, even as they began to gloss over, breaking my heart.

I had to leave before I broke completely. It's so hard to understand this boy - how he's so cold and aggressive.
"I'll be back in the morning." I whispered, letting go of his hand.

Before I made my way to his apartment it was a tiny place in the rundown area of the city. The neighborhood was unsafe and dangerous.

Unlocking his door, this black cat came running, before rubbing his back against my legs.

I genuinely wasn't really a cat person - Oliver and I never had any pets as Oliver is allergic.

Mack stretched his front paws up onto my legs, I ignored him as I went to find his food feeding the cat, scratching his head softly.

Before heading home- Oliver was in the kitchen waiting for me, with a cup  of tea in his heads, he looked extremely exhausted, his hair was damp from the shower.

"So what happened?"

"I don't know - he must've got into some sort of fight, and he got pretty fucked up. So did the other two."
I sighed before grabbing the plate of food he left for me.

"He has no one - he's worried about the hospital bill..." I continued, rubbing my temples as I waited for my food to heat up.
Oliver was quiet, deep in thought.

I ate in silence before I went to change, then slipped into bed with Oliver, without exchanging words.

He cuddled up to my side,
"I feel bad for him. I know how that feels to have no one...all alone." He spoke for the first time in the past hour.

"I know, Liv." Holding him close kissing his forehead.
