Inside the Tsuzumi Mansion, the room shook and the masked boy launched toward the drum demon.
Drum Demon: Infuriating! Infuriating!
In retaliation, the demon tapped the drum on his right shoulder, causing the room to turn sideway and evade the attack. As it did, Teruko landed hard on the upside down ceiling.
Tanjiro: Teruko! Hold onto the furniture!
Suddenly, he was hit by the masked boy, using him as a springboard to leap from and launched at the drum demon again.
Tanjiro: *annoyed* That's a demon with supernatural abilities! Stop launching those reckless assaults!
The stranger only cackled, ginoring Tanjiro's warning while still launching toward the demon to attack him.
Drum Demon: Infuriating! You damn insects running amok in my house!
The demon tapped its drum twice, spinning the room right-side up again. Teruko and Tanjiro landed on the floor but Teruko was painfully stepped on her back by the masked Slayer, finding enjoyment in the rotating rooms.
Masked boy: *cackles* The room freakin' spun around! This is fun! I'm havin' a blast! *cackles*
Seeing this, Tanjiro angrily grabbed his leg and flinged him away across the room, surprising him.
Tanjiro: Don't stomp all over her! *takes Teruko and holds her close*
The masked boy landed immediately on his feet, glaring at Tanjiro through his mask.
Masked boy: Ah! Grr... Who the hell are you?
Tanjiro: What do you think you're doing, stepping on a little kid like that?!
Masked boy: *cackles* I like it, I like it! No human has ever sent me flying like that before! *swings at Tanjiro, but he jumps with Teruko in his arms back*
Tanjiro: *thinks* Why is he coming after me? Isn't he a Demon Slayer?
Masked boy: My swords will hurt you. Because they're not the kind of swords you little gentlemen use! The way they shred through flesh... I pride myself on that!
Tanjiro: Knock it off! There's a demon right there, you know!
Masked Boy: Like I care!
He ran toward Tanjiro again, ready to attack but the demon at the background had enough.
Drum Demon: Damn insects! Get out of my sight! Die!
The demon tapped the drum on his stomach, causing several giant claw marks to slice in front of Tanjiro and the masked Demon Slayer who both dodged just in time.
Tanjiro: *thinks* The floor ripped apart all of a sudden! At the same speed as the sound of the drum, in the shape of a beast's claws!
The drum demon beat the drum again, sending an attack toward the masked boy, who dodged the attack. The demon beat a drum again, sending the room spinning.
Tanjiro: *thinks* Spinning right! *the demon beats a drum again* Spinning left!
Drum demon: Damn insects! *beats a drum on his leg* You damn miserable insects!
The demon beat another drum, sending the room spinning and the masked boy fell through a door.
Masked Boy: Ahh! Ah... Ahh...
Tanjiro: *thinks* I'm starting to get the hang of it now!
In the background, the demon muttered something, and Tanjiro ended with Teruko up in another room.
