I wake up and I figured today I would hang out with Nanti. I go to her room and there she is wide awake. I pick her up, she places her hand on my cheek and I smile at her. I take outside and we play, running around.

After a little while we get bored. "Wanna go to the falls?" I ask her. She nods and i began walking towards the falls. She was playing with my hair, when we get there I see Lo'ak standing in the water. "I show you this place once and you're already spending all your time here" i say chuckling. He turns around startled which makes me laugh. "Did I scare you?" I ask still laughing a little. "Yeah.." he says scratching the back of his neck.

I walk towards him getting in the water but I don't get too far because of Nanti, she starts playing with the water and I laugh as she was splashing me. I turn and I see Lo'ak smiling at us. "What are you smiling at?" I ask. He chuckles, "nothing your just an amazing big sister" i smile and face Nanti again, i could tell she was getting tired, so I get and start walking to the tree house since it was closer. "Where are you going?" Lo'ak asks. "To my treehouse, wanna come?" I ask. "Sure" he says as he runs to catch up with me.

I was silent on the way to the treehouse, I think he noticed that Nanti was sleeping. Once we get there i set Nanti down in my room. Once I set her down I leave the room and find lo'ak standing there looking around. "Did you build this?" He asks. "No my dad and saeyla's dad built it" i say. It was silent for a little while, "wanna see something?" I ask and he nods in return.

I grab his hand and drag him to the balcony but before he could see anything I cover his eyes. "If you think the view of the waterfall is amazing up close you'll love this" i say as i uncover his eyes. I watch them widen and I tried so hard not to chuckle.

I mean the view was beautiful, there were tree in front but there was a perfect path way so you could see the waterfall clearly. You could see the eclipse perfectly from above the waterfall. I was truly beautiful, it was definitely one of my favorite views.

I sit down watch the waterfall, lo'ak sits down next to me. "It's truly beautiful" i say, "not as beautiful as you though" he says, i raise an eyebrow and give him the side eye. "Yeah that was cheesy" he says laughing, i start laughing to. I turn back to look at the view. Did he mean what he said? Did he think I was beautiful?

I smile at my thoughts, but he couldn't have meant what he said. I mean I'm weird and quiet and with the power I have, that I can't control. I could hurt him, I could hurt a lot of people, I guess that's why I don't let people get to close.

Lo'ak looked like he was about to say something but Tio, Vokan and saeyla walk in. "See I knew she was here" Tio say walking towards us. Saeyla clears her throat and Tio notices lo'ak standing there. "What is he doing here?" He asks. "I was watching Nanti and she got tired so I brought here and I asked him to come" i said. He was staring lo'ak down the whole time i said that. "Leave." Vokan said walking closer to us. "Vokan..." i said putting my hand on his chest. "No he's right he should go" Tio says. Their hate for sky people grew when the sully's came but I didn't know it was that bad. "Guys stop you're acting like children" i say. "I'll go" lo'ak says. "No stay" i say turning towards him. "It's fine I'll see you tomorrow" he says as he leaves. I turn back to Vokan and Tio. "Are you happy?" I ask. They didn't say anything, so I just leave. "No Luna come back" saeyla says as I walk out the tree house.

How could they do that? I know they're still upset about what happened to mom but there are something's you have to get over. You can't stay in the past forever, we are a wreck without her. She is what kept us sane, i don't know what to do with out her.

I don't know how to fix the broken in us. I try so hard to fix it but it never works, She was so good at it.

I was walking on a tree branch, when I stop and everything goes black. I feel myself fall off the branch. I hear a voice an all too familiar voice, a voice I missed hearing. It was my mother, there she was standing over me. "Daughter" she says holding out a hand for me. I take it and she helps me up. "Luna, this power of yours is a gift. When will you realize that you aren't a curse, you are a blessing and you will be everything the Tipani clan needs" she says, i smile and a tear slips out of my eye. "This doesn't feel like a blessing mother, I feel like I will be the downfall of our family and our clan" i say as I start to cry more. "Oh hush, i know it's hard taking care of everyone but yourself i know but you are strong, stronger then i or any of our ancestors were." She wipes my tears and i smile. She knew exactly what I needed to hear and she said it it. I close my eyes trying to get rid of the tear but when I open them she is gone. "Mom.." i say. "Mom!!" I scream louder. I had lost her again, the hurt had came back like it never left.

Ok so, I honestly just thought of this chapter off the top of my head so yeah tell me if you like it or not and as always if i made a grammatical error just tell me so I can fix it cause honestly I don't feel like reading🫶🏽
