I woke up this morning to the sound of Nanti crying, it was still semi dark outside so I knew it was early. I got out of bed and made my way to her room, when I get there I see Tio holding her. "Now I know why she was crying" i say rubbing my eyes trying to get more awake. "Oh shut up, we have to get up to head to Awa'atlu" he reminded me.

I had totally forgot about our yearly trip, we make to visit Tonowari and his family. They had been family friends since well my dad was my age. This would be the first time my mom didn't come with us.

I step forward and grab Nanti from his arms, she was quiet now. "I'll take her and you can go wake up Vokan" i say watching his face fall, " I don't feel like getting hurt right now" he says, i laugh and hand him Nanti, and make me way to Vokan's room with Tio behind me.

That's the funny thing about me, I'll do anything to make people happy especially Tio since he is my twin. plus it won't be that bad, he can't hit me, i don't think he can, i hope he doesn't.

I walk closer to him and tap his face a couple times. "Vokan wake up." I say loud enough he heard me, he slaps my hand away. I roll my eyes, i look at Tio who is still holding Nanti in his arms. He looks at me worriedly, he knows what I'm about to do. I look around to find the nearest object, and I throw it at his head. "OWWW, Luna what the fuck" he said getting up. " morning, we are leaving to awa'atlu soon so get up" i say and he hisses at me, i just walk away and stick up my middle finger.

i wait outside with our ikrans, waiting for everyone to be ready to leave. Soon both Tio and my dad come out. My dad had Nanti in his arms, I look at them confused as to where Vokan was as I take Nanti from my dads arms. They both just shrug and as soon as they do Vokan comes out rubbing his eyes. He is such a baby it's quite funny.

Once we were in the air, I couldn't help but smile. I loved the feeling of the air hitting my face.

It took awhile but we finally got to awa'atlu. I admire the beauty as we finally land. I see Tonowari and Ronal waiting for us, soon Aonung and Tsireya join them. I smile and hop off my Ikran and run to hug Tsireya. Other then Saeyla she was one of my best friends. I then hug everyone else, we get settled in and then we join Ronal and her family for dinner.

I was sitting in between Tio and Tsireya. "So Luna are there any special guys in your life"Ronal asks, tio starts to burst out laughing and starts nudging my shoulder. I hiss at him and he backs off. "no, I'm to busy with nanti and taking care of 2 knuckleheads" i said with a smirk sneaking on my face as I finish my sentence. "hey! I think you mean a knucklehead" Vokan says smiling. I smile sarcastically, "no..." his smile fades. Ronal laughs and we start eating dinner.

We go back to our hut, i had nanti in my arms so I hand her to my dad and make my way to my bed. Today was a good day, I always loved our trips here, especially when my mom was here. Her, Ronal, Tsireya and I would all ride our Ilus together and watch the eclipse. My eyes start to flutter shut and i fall asleep.

I wake up and walk out the hut seeing people crowned at the shore. I walk towards them and see ikrans landing. "what brings you jake sully?" Tonowari asks. The na'vi man was holding a little one. "We need a place to stay, we are being hunted by sky people." Ronal shakes her head, "no, no, we do not want your war here" she says as she starts walking close to them. "We are reef people, your skills will mean nothing here" Tonowari speaks up again. " your tails are small" she says grabbing the tail that belonged to a girl. "Arms are thin" she continues grabbing one of the young boys arm. "They aren't even real na'vi" she says showing the hand of the boy. "Alright that's enough we can take them we are forest people, it will be easier to train them" My dad speaks before things got out of hand. My eyes widened, "thank you" Jake replies. My father just smiles and nods, "but dad that means the trip will be cut short" tio says. I slap his head, "shut up crybaby" vokan mutters so that the sully's wouldn't hear. My eyes meet one of the boys, I quickly look away. "Yeah it will be, but we will be back next year" he says. "Then it's settled, you will be going home with sänume and his family" Tonowari says. "We will go pack the stuff" I whisper to my dad and he nods back. I turn to Vokan and Tio, i wave my hand to follow me but they don't move so I walk back to them and grab them by the ears. "Ow Luna let go" Vokan says. "Follow me next time"
Lo'ak pov
We arrived to were our dad said would hopefully be our new home. We had to leave our people because we were being hunted by sky people.

My dad walks forward, " what brings you jake sully?" A man speaks. "We need a place to stay. we are being hunted by sky people" he replies. A woman begans to shake her head. "no, no, we do not want your war here" she says as she starts walking close to us. "We are reef people, your skills will mean nothing here" The man speaks up again.

"Your tails are small" the woman says grabbing Kiri's tail. Kiri shifts away from her grasp and the woman continues to examine us. She then grabs my arm, "arms are thin" she says I move my arm so she isn't holding on to it anymore. She grabs it again and then brings my hand up, "they aren't even real na'vi" she speaks again.

I can see my mom start to get angry, and another man speaks up being that he also saw my mom get mad, "Alright that's enough we can take them we are forest people, it will be easier to train them" my dad smiles and says thank you.

My eyes find their way to the girl standing next to the man. After awhile her make their way to mine but they don't stay there for long. She looks away, " then it's settled you will be going home with sänume and his family" the guy before says. The girl mush be Sänume's daughter, she whispers something in his ear and then turns to leave but walks back grabbing two boys ears and dragging them with her. I smile to myself as I watch them leave, neteyam nudges my arm and I shove him.

Luna's pov
once we finished packing, we said our goodbyes and left. I hugged Tsireya and Ronal good bye.

After a while we finally make it back to Tipani. "My kids will show you where you will be staying" my dad says, I hate being social. "Dad i can help you with Nanti, are you sure?" I say trying to get out of it. "I'm sure" he says.

I look down and Tio nudges my arm, " nice try but your stuck with us" i shove him aways and start walking. Once we get to their hut, " here we are, um training starts early morning, Vokan and Tio will come get you" i say about to walk away but i stop when I hear a women speak. "I'm sorry training" i was going to answer but luckily Vokan did before I could. "Yes, we are the clan of warriors you must start training to learn our ways" one of the boys speaks up, "this will be easy" i chuckle. "We will see about that" Tio says.

Once we make it back home i decide to go to sleep. Today was filled with so many different emotions, im going to hate teaching them. I hear Nanti start crying and i make my way to her room and pick her up and carry back to my room. I guess she will be sleeping with me tonight.
