[Scene: Kazuma's mansion, day.]
[Ren is asleep on the couch and Aqua gently pokes him with a spatula and moves his head a little. She then notices Ren's hair and picks up the one she found earlier. It is a match.]
Kazuma: do you think thats...?
[Aqua walks to the counter and ponders what he should do, while Ren regains consciousness, and tries to stand up. Megumin, Kazuma, Darkness, and Aqua turn back, but are startled by Ren]
Ren: Where am i?
Megumin: What are you doing here? were you trying to abduct me you pervert?!
Ren: Are you kidding me?! You abducted ME!
Megumin: Okay, that's a fair point. What are you? Why were you hiding out in my garage?
Ren: I needed somewhere safe. And you're the only people I could think of, and that pervert right there.
Kazuma: Why do you keep calling me that?
Ren: 'Cause you are.
Kazuma: Again, fair.
Ren: Wait, wait, wait. Where is... Why am I still on Earth? What is-- Oh, no! I lost my Ring!
Kazuma: What?!
[Kazuma hears someone coming, Lia]
Kazuma: What's happening? Who is that?
Ren: You think you're worried?
[Ren looks out as well but yelps and covers the window with the curtains]
Ren: She's coming for me!
Aqua: Who's coming for you? What does that got to do with us?
Ren: I don't have time to explain, but you have to help me!
Megumin: No, we don't! Why?
Ren: Well, my legs, which normally would be classified as lethal weapons, feel like spaghetti. I need your help. Please. It's life or death.
[Darkness looks at Ren, then back to the window, then she makes his decision]
Darkness: Fine. Come with me.
[Darkness walks out while Ren tries to walk, but instead faceplants on the floor after falling off a table]
Ren: Uh, little help?
[Scene Change: Outside. day.]
[Lia is examining more footprints again..]
[Scene: attic, day.]
Darkness: All right, stay here. And be quiet.
Ren: Good plan. Great plan! We're already working so well together! Practically finishing each other's sentences.
[Darkness walks downstairs, closing the attic door on the way out]
Ren: Okay, bye.
[Standing in the doorway, Kazuma looks out and sees Lia on the walkway]
Kazuma: Hello there! Can I help you?
Lia: [Walks over to the steps] Good morning, my rural chum. I'm... from the power company, investigating the blackout. If you don't mind, I'd like to take a few readings inside your house?
