Your breaths got heavier as the time passed. You were bit by a wolf and Klaus was to far away to come help. Damon had you in his arm his head resting on yours.
"Damon." You called softly.
"Yes?" He asked quietly.
"I love you, I want you to know that. Promise me you won't switch your humanity off. Promise me you'll try to find happiness."
He doesn't say anything as silence overcome the room. He sniffs not wanting to break down in front of you.
"I love you too y/n. I promise I'll try and be happy for you."
You squeeze his hand as you take your last breath. You watch as you see him break down. You walk closer to him and hold his face in your hands, placing a kiss to his forehead.
"I'll always be here with you to the end of the line."
