Chapter two: The stalker
The school bell rings and im heading home with Kacy. "Hey Sarah,do you get this equation for resistance and power? I am so lost i hate physics-Hey Sarah! Sarah!" Kacy says as she waves her hand in front of me to get my attention. "H-huh?" i say surprised. "Im sorry what did you say?" Kacy shakes her head. "Sarah are you okay? You seem out of it today." "aren't i always?" I said sarcastically. "yes but more than usual" she says frowning. "Hey Kacy?". "Hm?". "I'll beat you to the park!" I start running as fast as i can leaving her in my dust "Hey!! That's cheating!!". She giggles and starts running after me. "Hey wait up!!"
Panting, we both drink from the water fountain and take a seat "Hey Kacy?" "What? Your not planning to run again are you?" She asks with her eyebrow crooked up. "Hahaha no" My face gets serious. "Have you ever-.." I stopped "Everrr??" she asks very confused. "Have you ever been to the Geralds House?" Then i look at her waiting for her response. She turns white as a ghost. "Kacy?Kacy?!" I shake her. "what's wrong?! Did i say something wrong?" She shakes her head no. Her lip trembles. "Is-isnt that t-the s-s-stalker" I turned around slowly to face the direction that she is pointing to and froze.
"What's he doing here?"
Jeramai Turner. A few years ago he went missing after his parent's house burnt down. Rumors said that a few weeks after the fire, weird things had been happening in the park. Some people have walked through this park but never returned, others who did return state that there is a creepy guy walking the parks with red beaty eyes , tall hunched back, and sharp teeth. Its like everywhere they went they would feel a creepy present and dark aura. "Kacy?" I whispered "I need you to run as fast as you can meet me at the bridge in twenty minutes. We're going to split" She looks at me teary eyed, and I can already tell what she's thinking. I grab ahold of her hand "everything is going to be alright" then I smiled. She starts to calm a least a little bit. I turned back around just to see the status of where he's at. "H-hey, where'd he go?" Oh shit I rarely get scared but he literally is no where in sight..or so I thought.
When I turned back around to look up and Kacy there behind her he looked so deeply into my eyes, deep within my soul and couldn't move, breathe, nor look away, for I was frightened. "Kacy? Don't freak out okay. I need you to run. Run as quickly as you can don't stop." I whispered really quietly. "NOW GO!!" She broke off running and I finally broke away from his hypnotizing deadly glare and ran the opposite way of Kacy. Between trees, jumping logs, skipping rocks across the stream, I sprinted and never looked back. I didn't hear anything so I slowed down panting trying to catch my breath. A tree branch snapped 'Oh Shit' I thought to myself as I panicked, hurrying to find a spot to hide. 'Ah' I thought to myself. There's a rock shaped like an ocean wave. I quickly run over there hide putting my back against it as much as I can and held my hand over my mouth to cover my heavy breathing. My heart is thumping so loud I'm afraid someone might hear me. Hm? It sounds like there is two of them. I'm so scared, I grip the necklace that my mother gave me when I was one and breathe slowly calming down. I don't hear anything maybe the coast is clear. As I slowly peek around the corner I heard a scream. It sounded like a guy. I look to see who it was- "What the Fu-?! " quickly covering my mouth I shakily took out my phone to take a picture or record of who I am seeing or better yet.
