Gajeel's POV
---
It's been about a month since school started up, nothing really has happened, Levy still doesn't recall me though...
Lily is doing fine, he's growing bit by bit, I honestly can't believe how much of a miracle it was when he showed up at my doorstep.
Now that Levy has woken up from her coma, all the others have spent time with her.
But I haven't talked to her since. It breaks my heart every time I look at her.
How my first love, fell into a coma because of me, and in the end forgot me altogether.

The school bell rang, I headed to my first class of the day. Coincidentally it was with Levy.
I sat at the back, watching her so enthusiastic about her work and talking with Lucy and all her friends. It's been kind of a lonely month so far.
Today we were revising about how you can change the properties of matter by heating and cooling it.
As usual I laid back and didn't pay attention to anything, just slacking off.
Until the teacher said something.
"Now. All of you, we will be doing a group project, you will be working in groups of four!" She announced, everyone started to glance at each other and get out of their seats, "Uh, uh, uh, I haven't finished, all of you sit down. For this project your partners will be chosen. I will draw names out of this jar and you will be working in these groups! No swapping!" She yelled. Everyone groaned and sat back down, great.
"Gray, Juvia, Lisanna, Cana. You will all be in one group!" Lucky.
"Levy, Lucy, Natsu and oh, Gajeel, you all will be working together."
Oh. Great. Just my luck.
"Nice to work with you again Iron brains." Natsu joked.
"Can it salamander." I hissed.
"Now, now you two." Lucy sweat dropped.
"Great now I have to work with a slacker." Levy muttered.

Levy's POV
---
Great, I mean sure I'm lucky to work with Lucy and Natsu, but I got stuck with the slacker of our class, the one who always gets in trouble and doesn't care whatsoever about his academic achievements.
"I see you're as pleased as ever shrimp." He teased, I growled, "Hey I'm not that short! I'm...fun sized." I muttered, he started giggling and patting me on the head. "You're funny shrimp, y'know I've missed this side of you."
Oh yeah. That's right, he was there when I woke up from my coma, for some reason he insisted that I knew him and that we were once best friends but that...I didn't recall any of those memories.
He seemed sorta sad that I forgot...
I guess I would too if my close friend just suddenly forgot me.
Lucy and Natsu seemed to get along fine with him regardless of how he presented himself, how he talked and how he acted, it was sorta weird...
"Now your group project is to created something from either this liquid substance, solid object or gas sample." Ms. Seance said as she laid out all of the materials on her desk. "Each group will come up one by one and tell me which form of matter you will be using. The due date for this assignment will be at the end of the semester, so that give you roughly about fifteen weeks to work on this. Now this will not be a simple task. No, as this task will be to form one of these three states of matter to another artistic form of matter." She explained, "For example, you can turn this liquid substance into ice and then carve that ice into something more artistic. Do you catch my drift?"
"Yes Ms. Seance!" The class chimed.
Great, this is simply amazing, I am going to be stuck with the class slacker for a whole semester!
Absolutely fun!
The bell rang, thankfully saving me.
I got up and grabbed my books, then walked out.
I grabbed my bento from my bag an went to sit down by the fountain near the middle of the school.
I kinda wanted to be alone for just today, I needed some space after everything.

As I sat down I let out a sigh.
This was one of my favourite places to sit whenever I wanted to feel at peace.
The area was basically empty with everyone near the fields playing soccer or football, or maybe inside the library or even just walking around. But no one seems to come here.
I opened my bento box and my stomach growled. I giggled and then started eating. Today I had teriyaki chicken with and a bit of tempura sushi.
It was so delicious.
"Hey shrimp." I heard a familiar voice. Oh god. It's him. Gajeel.
"Hey.."
Great, now I have to he stuck with him outside of science? Fantastic!
"I was just wondering whether we could catch up...I mean I'm totally fine if you don't want to but... I mean it's been some time." He said. I just stared at him for a while, for some reason I could sense he wanted to tell me something. He seemed...sincere.
Then he stood up, "I guess that's a no." He sighed, he started walking away when I did something foolish.
"No. Please stay, I would love to catch up with you."
He turned around and smiled, what have I gotten myself into.
"Look I know you hate me-"
"I wouldn't exactly say hate, I just, strongly...dislike your attitude during class."
"Hate, as I was saying, I know you hate me and all, but if we want to get a good grade on this science thing, we're gonna have to get along. Well. So how about a coffee? Or tea, or whatever you prefer, I don't know maybe you don't prefer anything, and... Shit I'm rambling on again." He cursed, I couldn't help but to giggle, although it was true I hated him, not that much but yeah, he was actually pretty funny and...wait. Did he seriously just make a date with me? That sly wolf Gajeel.
"Great! So I'll meet you at the cake shop near my house tomorrow at around about 4:30pm, I heard that they renovated!" I smiled, "If you're fine, that's fine with me. So see ya there shrimp!" He smiled, he got up and then walked off.
Even though he's annoying, he can be pretty cu- oh no. No. No no no. I can't seriously be falling for him, PFFT actually that's pretty pathetic Levy Mcgarden. To think you'd be that desperate...
I continued to eat my bento box, I managed to finish my lunch jus before the school bell rang, great!
Back to math. My favourite.

The school bell had rang and all the kids ran out the hallways, I on the other hand was stuck, waiting as the maintenance cut open my locker since my lock broke. Absolutely funtastic! I mean I could be doing so much right now, reading a book, catching up with shows, socialising on my phone, but nope, everything was in my bag, which surprisingly was in my locker.
The maintenance guy finally cut open my lock and went away, I thanked him and grabbed my bag an dashed off on the way to the little cake shop, I was meant to meet Laxus there to discus on how to properly propose, without Mira knowing of course. They postponed it due to my comatose state. I felt kids bad so I decided that I should help make it the perfect proposal.

I arrived at the shop, I actually had maximum of a year off of work since the incident and that I needed to recover fully so that was a plus, I took a seat in the corner booth with Laxus and Lucy, and surprisingly Natsu Denseneel. "Sorry I'm late!" I apologised, I took a seat next to Lucy and looked at their plans.
"So Laxus is going to take Mira out for a stroll in a fancy resort, they planned to leave next week and he is going to propose there instead, he is going to walk along a wooden bridge over a beautiful lake filled with Sakura petals, and surrounded by sakura trees, a rose garden and have dinner on that little bridge. He is going to propose to Mira as soon as they had finished their dessert, when the moon shone on the lake. Beautiful isn't it?" Lucy sighed
"Yeah, it's quite romantic for someone like Laxus." I joked, Hey! It's not like I'm going to do something sloppy with no effort!" He argued, we both laughed.
"I don't think it's good." Natsu bluntly said, "Why?" Lucy asked, "Too much effort."
I shot Natsu a death state and he immediately got the picture, he just quickly shut his mouth and kept quiet.

"So, Levy, how are things with you and Gajeel?" Laxus asked, "Me and Gajeel? Ew! No way I'm falling for an idiot like that!" I quickly snapped, Lucy looked really awkward and Natsu was trying to hold back his giggles.
"What? What did I miss?" I asked, they all seemed like they knew something about us that I didn't.
"That's right, your memories of him all disappeared..." Lucy muttered, "Why! What happened between us? Please tell me!" I asked, "Fine, well let's start with.. he sorta saved your life. If he wasn't there to save you Romeo, Wendy and You would've been dead, he managed to buy you three time for you guys to escape." Lucy explained.

After she had explained everything, it all made sense, well for started I really want to apologise to Gajeel, and secondly, I'm still not falling for that tall, muscly, fairly tanned...shit! Not again Levy! Ugh!
But all I want to say is that I'm sorry for how badly I've treated him.
