Gajeel's POV
---
I threw my bag and books onto the table and ran out the door, i didn't bother locking it, even though it would've been ideal to.
I ran out onto the street, my legs running as fast as I could, I quickly turned the corner and ran up to Levy's house, well the one I thought she lived in.
I ran up to her house and knocked on the door, I was greeted by Levy, who seemed unharmed, but confused, "Gajeel, uh, anything wrong? You look worried?" She asked, I looked around frantically to make sure she wasn't in any danger, dad's men aren't really that hard to miss. "Uh, yeah, I'm just, uh, are you free tomorrow? I kinda wanted to, uh, hang out yknow?" I asked, quickly covering up, "Uh, sure...are you really okay Gajeel? You look really worried."
"Ah, no, no, it's nothing, my cat's just, uh, having a little trouble, he's a baby so..."
"Ahh, you're looking for a place for him to pee on- I mean stay, sure I'll take care of him, where is he?" She asked, "Uh, somewhere, around..." I looked around hoping that Lily might've followed me, then I heard a meow, "Ah! He must've wondered off, here he is." I said as I picked him up off the pavement, "Aw she's so cute!" Levy cooed, "Actually it's a he..." I corrected her, "Oh, in that case, he's so cute!" She cried stroking him.
"Well, uh, I'll come by soon to grab all of his stuff, I'll be back soon!" I waved her goodbye.Strange...I didn't sense any of their presence's back at Levy's, so what was with that letter? I approached my house and opened the door, I remembered leaving it unlocked. As I walked in to turn on the lights, I felt several hands grab my arms and punch me. "Who are you!" I managed to say through the fury of punches.
The light clicked on and I saw a man I once knew, my father's right hand man, his alias was 'Hades' the second in command of the organisation my dad works with. He men held me still while he approached me, he had a crooked smile on his face. "Gajeel Redfox, my have you grown to be a stubborn brat, too bad that's going to end today." He cooed, his voice sent chills down my spine, "That letter!" I cursed, "Yes, a simple diversion, I thought you out of anyone could've sense that wasn't your fathers writing, that was merely a fake!" He cackled, "What are you going to do with me!" I yelled, "Quiet down child, or do you want more blood to be on your hands."
I growled at him, "I have one thing I want from you, you life, not just your existence, I want to take if away from you piece by piece, that is, if I win." He explained, "Win?" I asked, "A duel, I shall spare your life if I have the chance, but you, you can kill me just like that, but you'll have to be fast because you don't have much time." He said, "What do you mean!?"
"That Levy girl, she will come running down here after an hour or two, worried sick about you since you did promise her that you would be back soon with everything of your cat', and when she comes in and witnesses us, she's as good as dead."
"No! Leave her out of this!"
"Then choose, have a chance of beating me, or dying right here and now!" He yelled, one of his men brought two swords, I quickly grabbed mine and swung it at him, to hear the clang of it hitting his sword. He moved too fast and always blocked or evaded my attacks, nothing was hitting him, meanwhile he was able to land every single slice he made.
He managed to slice my thigh, causing me to fall, that was my downfall, he grabbed my face, right before I felt a piercing pain through my chest. He pulled out his sword from my body and took mine away, leaving the scene and leaving me to die. That's all I remembered before fading to black.---
Levy's POV
---
It's been an hour since Gajeel left, and yet he hasn't come back yet, I'm starting to get worried that he ditched his cat, he cat meowed and rubbed me, probably asking for food, I had a fruit bowl placed on my table, which the cat made its way to. He started to push at the kiwi fruit, so I assumed that he wanted it, I quickly cut it up into pieces where Lily began to nibbled on them.
My stomach growled. He wasn't the only hungry one, I quickly warmed up some leftovers from last night, spaghetti, and sat down to eat it.
I grabbed my phone and texted Gajeel again, for the fifth time in an hour, and called him for the twentieth, but still no reply. This guy! Does he have no manners or is he in trouble? I told myself that once I finished my food that I would check up on him, after all, I'm pretty sure which house Gajeel lives at. I texted Lucy what had happened with Gajeel and stuff while I ate my spaghetti, which she thought that it was pretty cute, both the cat and Gajeel.
