Chapter 18

5 days had past since Endou kantoku told everyone to find the sacred treasure that had scattered around the country and no one was to be seen in sight at the promised place except for kiba " Where is everyone?" she wondered. Where she was sitting was on a step in front of a small shrine that had no god that had worshiped. The only thing that she could see was mist, only mist. Kiba frowned, remembering something she forgot many years ago.

" Whats with that stupid face Kiba" A light green fox was floating in mid air with small fireballs around him to light up the area. "its only you Kariya.." Kiba faced the opposite side of him. "Your no fun" He pouted and jumped over to her. "When did you get here?".

"Two days ago"

"Two days ago?!"

"It was close where i found this dagger, here" She tossed the the two daggers to Kariya.

"Whoa, be careful what if it stabbed me?"

"don't be stupid, do you think i would throw a knife at you with it not in its protected, although it would be interesting if it actually was opened and it stabbed someone..."

"..."

"i'm just joking"

"hehehe...he..he"

"what about your treasure did you find it?"

"Of course, what do you think?"

"well it looked like you couldn't find it"

"Wha-" Kariya was cut off by loud crunch he quickly jumped and turned towards a small bush

"Wait for me Tsukiko!" From the bush emerged a white wolf and a fox following behind it.

"its just Mitsuki and Miyu.." Kariya gave a sigh and turned around.

"Kariya.. were you scared?" Miyu sneered at Kariya she changed into her human form and walked next to Kariya.

"No i wasnt.."

"You were weren't you?"

"Lets drop the subject, oh i see Endou kantoku over there" Mituski points over to where there was a shadow in the mists.

" You guys are already here? Looks like you found them?" The rest of the group was behind endou all holding the sacred treasures they were assigned with.

"good work everyone, looks like we were all able to get it before them"

They all gathered around a round rock with a symbol on it. Everyone placed the sacred treasures on top of it.

"Looks like every things in place.." Kiba said.

"Now we can defeat the demon!"Chikai squealed, Mitsuki shushing her she looked around her feeling watched by someone.

"Tsu-chan, do you feel like your being watched cause i do.." Honoka whispered.

"That would be me" A new voice emerged from the mist.

"Who's that!" Kiba exclaimed.

"Im sorry, i forgot to introduce my self. I am Kazuki Miko, Miko is fine."

"Kazuki?" Tsurugi turned around to the girl.

"Kyousuke! long time no see? i haven't seen you for..50 years?"

"Kazuki where were you all this time?"

"Here and there, doing stuff for shuuya ni, anyways my friend here has something to say?"

"Hakuryuu! why are you here?" Tsurugi said.

"Shut up and listen carefully, its important so be quite. You know how i left you guys few days back? I went snooping around the demons subjects and i found out sthat they weren't just trying to revive the demon but trying to do something else, i also found out that there was a spy among you guys its-"

Hakuryuu suddenly fell towards Tsurugi.

"Hakuryuu?!" Everyone was surprised to the person who was behind Hakuryuu holding onto the weapon with blood on it.

"So it was you..."
