"So, you might be wondering what a team does after they win the championship. The answer?" Aisha approached the table, focusing her phone on the tray in the middle. "Victory nachos!"
Hawk chanted as the four at the table clinked their drinks together. "It was supposed to be a round of drinks, but the waitress was not feeling Hawk's fake ID."
"Hey, don't talk about that." Hawk warned her. "My parents follow you."
"Sorry, Mr. and Mrs. Moskowitz. Anyways, until next time, no mercy bitches." Aisha smiled, turning her phone off and taking a seat next to Isabella.
"I gotta say, it's nice to be at a victory party." Demitri announced, the nacho in his hand getting snatched away by Hawk soon after.
"Yeah, except you had nothing to do with the victory." Hawk reminded him, stuffing the food into his mouth.
"Then I consider it a belated party for the coding competition we won at computer camp. Remember?" Demitri busted out what could only be described as 'the nerdiest dance ever.' "Demitri and Eli, binary brothers!" Moon and Aisha laughed, not realizing who Hawk was before he turned to 'Hawk.'
"Hey, cool it with the nerd shit, huh?" Hawk whispered hurriedly to Demitri.
"Hey, where's Miguel?" Moon questioned, noticing the champion's missing presence at the table. "His wings are getting cold." The five looked over, spotting Miguel sitting by himself across the restaurant.
"We got this." Isabella assured the group, gesturing towards him and Hawk, both of whom got up and walked towards Miguel.
"El Serpiente, there you are."
"This is how you celebrate a first place trophy?" Isabella questioned her brother as she took a seat by his side.
"She blocked me." Miguel muttered, rather defeated.
"So what happens when you get blocked?" Hawk asked rhetorically. "You counterpunch. Except maybe don't actually hit her this time." Hawk joked, getting Isabella to give him her famous 'shut the fuck up' eyes. "What, too soon? Look, all I'm saying is don't give up."
Miguel shrugged, his face filled with disappointment. "It's no use. I blew any shot I had with her."
"Just give Sam some time. She'll come around." Isabella assured her brother, placing a semi-comforting hand on his back.
"Or she won't." Hawk shrugged. "You're the champ now. You can get any chick in the valley you want. You're like Drake. Enjoy it." He ignored his friend's saddened demeanor, instead deciding to get up and head back to the table with his girlfriend, as though he'd fixed anything.
"I'm not sure I want to be Drake."
"Don't worry, you're not." Isabella assured her brother once again, allowing him to rest his head on her shoulder.

"All right, so I get my license next week." Hawk told the Diaz siblings as the three of them pulled up to Cobra Kai on their scooters. "My mom's gonna give me her Sentra. I think I'll put a blue racing stripe down the middle, hood to tail."
"Subtle." Isabella commented sarcastically. "I like it." Upon seeing the dojo, an overwhelming group of new students flooded the outside.
"Looks like we got some new students." Miguel smiled, looking at the bunch.
"Fresh fish." Hawk grinned happily as the three began to approach the group.
"It's the champs." One of them smiled dubiously at the three. 'Champs' was a bit of a stretch. Miguel had won the championship, but Hawk had been eliminated in the semi finals for unnecessary contact, and Isabella had lost to her brother in the quarter finals.
"Check this out."
"Don't." Isabella warned her friend.
"Hey, mouth breathers, move it." Hawk commanded the two standing closest to them.
"Sorry about that."
"I'll get the door." The taller one moved aside, holding the door open for the three.
"So you guys wanna be Cobra Kais, huh?" Hawk winded up his arm, as if he was going to hit, causing both boys to flinch. "You got a long road ahead of you."

"What the hell happened here?" Isabella questioned out loud, taking notice of the scorched walls and missing mirror.
Aisha shrugged in response. "Looks like sensei threw a party."
"Must've been pretty sick if fire got involved." Hawk noticed.
"Quiet!" Johnny screamed from across the room, getting everyone in the dojo to shut up. "The dojo's closed to new students today."
"We just wanted to sign up after we saw the tournament." The same boy who held the door open for Miguel, Isabella, and Hawk explained.
"Do I need to say it again? Get out!"
"Yes, sir...sensei. Come on. Let's go." All the students rushed out rather quickly.
"Let's go, move it. Come back tomorrow. And bring your checkbooks." As soon as the door closed behind the last newcomer, he angrily turned to his students. "Everybody, fall in."
"Must've been a rager, Sensei." Hawk commented, smirking at his instructor.
"Were you celebrating all weekend?" Miguel expressed the same demeanor.
"Celebrating what? My students are a bunch of pussies. Diaz, Hawk, up front."
"Which one?" The Diaz siblings chorused.
"Miguel." The two exchanged a look before taking a step out, next to their sensei. "Hawk. Did you attack your opponent while his back was turned?"
Hawk, confused with the question, was hesitant to answer. "Yes, Sensei."
"Diaz. Did you purposely attack your opponent's injury?"
"Yes, Sensei."
"You think that makes you badass?" Miguel and Hawk were speechless in the moment, looking at each other for an answer. "What's the matter? Question too tough? Maybe you need some help." He turned back to the rest of the class. "Miss Diaz."
"Yes, Sensei."
"Two cobras in the jungle. One kills the strongest lion, the other kills a crippled monkey. Which cobra do you want to be?"
"The one that kills the lion, Sensei." Isabella answered without hesitation.
"And why is that?"
"Because it killed a stronger animal."
"Correct!" He projected his voice so that everybody could hear him clearly. "Cobra Kai is about being badass. And the baddest badass is the one who beats his opponent when he's at his strongest. Not when his back is turned. Not when he's injured. Is that understood?"
"Yes, Sensei." The entire dojo chorused.
"That means no more cheating. No more fighting dirty. From here on out, those are pussy moves, and you don't wanna be pussies, do you?"
"No, Sensei."
"Good. It's why I had you wear your white belts. We're starting over. Diaz, Hawk, 50 push ups on your knuckles. Miss Diaz, warm them up."
"Yes, Sensei."
