chapter 2.

(~|•Aonungs pov•|~

Neteyam grabs my waist, and pulls me in, our lips touch, my heart starts racing, and my fingers start to tangle in his messy hair.

He slides his hand down and grasps my thighs, I let out a small groan, but before anything else could happen, I hear someone calling out my name, it's neteyam, but, it isn't his voice, his mouth is moving but it isn't him, it's my father's voice..

I suddenly get forced to wake up, by my father- Tonowari, shaking me and beckoning me to wake up, as I look around I come to notice, I have over slept.

'crap, I overslept.' I say loudly myself as I get ready to leave.

As my father watches me pounce up from where I once lay, and rush to get myself ready, he chuckles to himself.

"Thanks for waking me up, father" is all I managed, before I had to gap it, and find the others.

~|•A few minutes later•|~

I look around, a little lost, where is he? Wasn't he the one who said they needed to get up early, he must of been tired, and over slept.

Tisreya beckons us- me,Kiri,Tuk and Loak, to come into the water.

We were just standing in the sand, relaxing a little, it's a while before mid day, and Tuk was already complaining that she's hungry, couldn't blame her though.

We walk in about knee deep, untill Tisreya looks at us, then looks around, must be looking for her brother, Aonung, whom is nowhere in sight, yet.

I look at the shimmering water that surrounds me, sending shivers up my spine as the water sways and glows.

"I guess, we may have to start without him" Tisreya starts.

But before she could continue, heavy foot steps are heard behind us.

I didn't even need to look behind me, I could tell who's foot steps those belong to, without a doubt, it was, Aonung.

My heart beats a little faster then before, what is it with this guy?

"Sorry I'm late guys, I over slept a little..." Aonung stated.

I blush at the very sound of his voice, my cheeks turn a dark blue mixed with a pale red, wondering if this feeling in my stomach, is normal.

I feel somone lay there arm on my shoulder, breaking me from my thoughts, I quickly spin around, slightly startled.

Of course it was him, of all people, once again, Aonung, I bat his hand away from me.

I mean, wasn't he the one who just ran away? Not that I'm mad or anything, I must of said something that made him uncomfortable, although me and him both didn't say much.

I gave him a stern look, but he just chuckled, and I couldn't help but break character.

I laughed, and as did he, that was when I noticed how close we suddenly were, I low-key wanted to grab him and pull him even more closer, but I couldn't, and I wouldn't, definitely not with everyone who is now staring at us.

We broke eye contact as my eyes flickered away from his, Kiri and tuck giggled in the back, the rest joined in..

Aonung tilted his head and smiled, then walked away, although, I know it's wrong but-, I couldn't help but stare at his body as he walked past me,his slim waist, and yet, his broad shoulders, swayed with every step he took.

He didn't go far, but my heart suddenly wanted him.

Everyone stoped, and looked up, at Aonung, who was making noises with his throat.

I got curious and watched carefully, creatures swam bye and surrounded Aonung.

"These are Ilu, and if you want to live here, you have to ride." He commented.

"We should get into groups, teach faster, learn faster." He continues.

Tisreya agrees with a quick nod.

She's eyeing up Loak I smirk to myself.

"Your pick first brother, even though you were late" she laughs.

"Hmm, I'll pick..Neteyam?" He winks.

I slightly blush, although I roll my eyes to cover it up.

"Alright then, I'll take Loak, and Rotxo takes Kiri." Tisreya giggles.

She smiles at Loak, and he couldn't help but to obviously smile back, alot more shyly though.

On the other hand, Aonung swam closer to me, close enough to whisper in my ear.

"Don't worry, if your scared about riding an Ilu, I'm always hear to rescue you if you fall"

"Yeah, yeah, whatever you skxawng" he remarks, rolling his eyes.

He calls over a free Ilu, and raises his hand , beckoning me to join him, as he pats the Ilu.

"C'mon they don't bite.., unless you annoy them" he grind as he jokes.

He gulps.

As I instruct him how to even get On a Ilu, I notice his body shakes when ever I touch him.

Cute, I think to myself.

I help him up, only to get frustrated by how wrong his position is.

I shake my head and place my hand on his thigh, I manoeuvre it up and back, to be in a good position, only so he doesn't fall off.

I love it when our skin touches, it feels all warm and fuzzy inside, wait..no! I can't be thinking so freely like this! I shake my head even more frustrated.

Neteyam sees this, and he bends down to shake my shoulder..

"Are you alright? Reef boy..?"
