Title: That Boy Is Mine
Chapter Name: Presentation Day
Point Of View: Iida Tenya
Word Count: 875It was presentation day, the day we had to present our project on certain hero tactics. I was partnered with Sero, on the topic of close combat. We got finished a week after the starting point, that was also the night when Sero stayed in my dorm. We didn't do anything romantic, to my dismay. We fought about who should sleep on the bed, me insisting it was him since he was the guest, him insisting it was me because it was my room. We both settled on the agreement of both of us sleeping on the bed. But when I was asleep, Hanta fell to the floor, purposefully. (Just to spite me)
All fighting aside, I can say that it was... eventful to say the least. I'll spare the detail and say that Hanta had to borrow some of my clothing because he was in jeans and a button up shirt, which wasn't comfortable. That was about all that happened.
We did, however, schedule a sleepover for another night, this time it'd be more planned out with popcorn, movies, and more pillows and blankets. In fact, Sero insisted on making a blanket fort for us. He even insisted, since it would be next Saturday, that we would stay up extra late just to watch three movies that he picked out. I only know of one movie he chose, Elf, since it was cerently December 12th.

"Iida, Iida!" I heard a high pitched, male voice whisper-shouting my name. I turned my head to the noise, to see Sero about 12cm (5in) away. It was the middle of homeroom class, and we were doing our project. It was mine and Sero's turn to do our presentation, which he promised he'd narrate since I did most of the research. I jolted up, stiffly, loudly apologizing for my scene.
Sero and I walked up to the front of the classroom. I noticed Sero looked a bit worried, so I wanted to ask but decided against it. Was he nervous about public speaking? No,he couldn't have been, he's the most social person I know. Was he worried about how accurate the research would be? No, he said himself that this was top-notch research. Was it because of Aoyama being a creep again? I took a quick glance to Aoyama, to see him starring at Sero.
My anger further blonde fumed. How could he be so perverted? No matter his background, or intentions, he's taking advantage of Hanta's blunt niceness towards him. He obviously made Sero uncomfortable, so why would he try something like this? Especially knowing I would have my gaurd up for it.
I cooled my small anger moment by the time we were both at the front of the room. Sero got the slides pulled up on his computer, and aizawa helped him put it on the Webcam. Sero started reading everything on the slides, as well as further information about our topic.
I was in charge of switching to the next slide after Hanta was finished. About two voice cracks or a awkward silences between each slide, it was the final page, to which Aizawa formally started a small applaud. Sero shut his computer, smiling slightly up at me, gesturing for a high five.
Once we were done with the presentation, we sat down. I noticed that Sero was a lot calmer after Aoyama stopped doing his weird side glances. There weren't a lot of things that made Sero uncomfortable or uneasy, so if something did, it was alarming because Sero is more of a layed back guy who didn't really care what people did or thought about him. I sighed back in my seat, happy that it was finally over.
I looked down at my wrist watch, noticing it was 1:34. Classes were slightly cut short because of how much fog and snow was outside in the morning, causing a two hour delay. It was Tuesday, which meant this Saturday, Hanta and I would have a sleepover. I'm not the type to get excited about that sort of stuff, but this was Hanta Sero we were talking about:
The always happy, never let anything get him down bruenette. The guy who's obsessed with a certain American comic book web swinging hero. The same guy who unintentionally hurts people's feeling, but then tries his best to make them feel better with millions of apologies. The guy who's eyes were so dark like the night sky, it would only make sense he knows everything about astrology and astronomy. The guy who gives me the intrusive thought to put my hand through his hair because it looks so soft. The guy that-
'What the actual hell and I thinking? Sero's just a sweet guy who looks like your standard Hispanic and smells suspiciously of sea salt and apple cider. Wait, why do I know what he smells like? Am I that hopeless? Did I-'
I knew I liked him, but to what extent? I've never felt this way, and after seeing his smile after our presentation... it just made my stomach feel odd. I need to distract myself.
